Driver's Education instructor Overland Park Main Campus
Prepare new student drivers for successful licensure through classroom and on-the-road instruction consistent with Kansas DMV requirements and standards in order to prepare student drivers for successful licensure. The Driver Education Instructor will prepare and deliver a classroom instructional program for students, plus 6 hours of driving lessons with each student.
Adjunct Assistant Professor, Human Science Overland Park Main Campus
JCCC is looking for applicants for a part-time faculty position in the Biology Department. The ideal candidate would be expected to instruct students in Human Anatomy, combined lecture and lab, starting in Fall 2025. The ideal candidate would teach teach-to-face during the day. Evening English Connection Instructor West Park (WPK)
Provide English instruction to students who are transitioning from basic life-skill English classes into GED-level academic coursework, college transition or higher career placement. Evening Adult Basic Education/GED Instructor West Park (WPK)
Provide learner-centered instruction for basic literacy and math through high school equivalency/college readiness skills in reading, writing, math computation, applied math, science, and social studies in preparation for taking the 2014 GED® exam. Create individual education plans for each learner and monitor progress toward passing the 2014 GED® exam. Instruct students one-on-one and in small groups. Guide and supervise ongoing study. Engage community volunteers to assist with one-on-one instruction with learners. Create reports and maintain records. Participate in professional development events.
Assistant Professor, Information Technology Overland Park Main Campus
This faculty position in the Information Technology department is within the Computing Sciences and Information Technology Division. The Faculty member is expected to possess expert level knowledge in the IT discipline. The Faculty member will carry teaching load in a variety of IT areas including: networking, systems administration, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. The faculty member is expected to demonstrate competence in mastery of subject matter, professional development, teaching performance, evaluation of student learning, participation in college/division/program activities, support college policies and procedures, and contribution to the growth and enhancement of college mission and programs. Zero Waste Associate Sustainability Overland Park Main Campus
Perform the necessary work to support the recycling, composting, and other waste diversion programs to drive the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) goal to become a zero-waste campus where the diversion of materials from reaching the landfill is at or beyond 90%.
HVAC Maintenance Mechanic Overland Park Main Campus

Assistant Professor, Mathematics (9-month) Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is a comprehensive educational institution that values outstanding instruction. A 9-month faculty member in the mathematics department at JCCC is expected to perform the tasks as outlined in the position description including committee work and taking part in the professional and curriculum development. However, instead of spending a majority of time in the classroom, faculty in this particular 9-month position receive the majority of their workload through liaison work with the area high schools in the Quick Step Plus (QSP) partnership.

Assist the Editor-In-Chief in building The Messenger, a new a student-focused multimedia publication about life at JCCC. The Managing Editor: plans editorial content with staff, under the direction of the Editor in Chief; conducts regular budget and editors’ meetings to plan content and monitor progress; assigns story and production tasks to respective Student News Center staff; sets deadlines accordingly; serves as spokesperson for The Messenger in EIC's absence.
