The lab tech will have the following duties: • Lab preparation for cell and molecular biology, genetics, and biotechnology labs or other courses as scheduled. Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist Overland Park Main Campus
The Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist is primarily responsible for billing sponsors and companies for enrollment and non-enrollment related activities. The specialist also assists the Billing & Accounts Receivable Coordinator with the collections function within the Bursar’s Office
Printing Specialist Overland Park Main Campus
Part-time Printing Specialists assist the Printing Services department with daily activities of print production operations to meet project expectations and deadlines. Printing Services provides printing, mailing, finishing and other production services to employees at JCCC. Printing Specialists perform a variety of technical support for order processing, operation of printers, related print finishing hardware and mailing software and will assist with the cleaning and maintenance of equipment. Printing Specialists produce printed material on high-quality copiers and printers. They generate the proper layout, load machines, monitor progress and ensure the projects are completed as requested. Strict deadlines and safety guidelines are followed. Additional tasks could include laminating, binding, sorting, folding, shrink wrapping and delivery of completed job orders. Printing Specialists assist with inventory, quality control and process efficiencies. They are expected to monitor jobs for mistakes to eliminate rework and provide top-notch customer service.
Records Specialist - Verifications Overland Park Main Campus
Coordinate procedures and processes related to the request and release of student records in accordance with the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA). Collaborate with other staff within the Student Success & Engagement Division to respond to student records inquiries and requests. Provide general clerical and technical support to the rest of the records office as needed.
Staff Reporter - Student Media Center Overland Park Main Campus
Accepts story assignments from Editor-in-Chief and/or other editors, then conducts necessary research and interviews appropriate subjects to gather information and write student-centered, publishable stories. Assists with written story’s conversion to broadcast script when applicable.
Sports Editor, Student Media Center Overland Park Main Campus
Responsible for creating, editing and proofing all print-based material for the Sports Section of the Student Media Center publication. Actively participates in regular budget and editors’ meetings to plan student-centered editorial content. Assists in turning print stories into viable video scripts for production.
Adjunct Faculty, Plumbing, Industrial Tech Overland Park Main Campus
The Plumbing Technology program is seeking qualified candidates for Adjunct Assistant Professor to teach such topics as plumbing theory, print reading and estimating, residential and commercial plumbing, and plumbing code. Most courses include laboratory and lecture sections, and are offered during the evening hours.
Honors Ambassador Overland Park Main Campus
This position represents JCCC Honors at internal and external events. This position is for 5-12 hours per week with flexible scheduling. This position is only open to current JCCC students in the Honors Program. Activities will include marketing as well as event planning, and recruitment (including social media) to honors peers.
Senior Project Manager Overland Park Main Campus
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of large scale, strategic, and cross-functional technology initiatives from project initiation through implementation and completion. The Sr. Project Manager (SPM) works closely and collaboratively with stakeholders to plan, direct, organize, and execute against project requirements. The SPM also works with IS leadership to identify, acquire and coordinate necessary resources to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes. He/she is responsible for monitoring and reporting project status—including risks, issues affecting project schedules, and milestone achievements—to the Director of the Project Management Office and stakeholders. The SPM develops project plans and schedules and ensures projects meet departmental requirements, standards, policies, and deadlines.
Student Support Technician Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Support Technician serves as the first point-of-contact for JCCC student support. This position is responsible for initial triage and assistance in determining the resolution of student issues, escalation of issues to higher level technical support professionals when necessary, and reporting of trends when requests appear to be out of the ordinary. The Student Support Technician will also be directly involved in the JCCC knowledge management process.
Learning Specialist for Student Athletes, Academic Achievement Center Overland Park Main Campus
Provide one on one and/or group instruction primarily to student athletes as well as students in the Academic Achievement Center. Assist students with interventions and strategies to learn effectively in all content areas. Other tasks will include individualizing instruction, diagnosing learning barriers, and constructing student learning plans. May also include directing students to needed campus resources and responding to online requests for class support, as well as rectifying software issues.
Accountant Overland Park Main Campus
The Financial Aid Accountant assists the Financial Aid Office with reconciliations and data analysis to inform decision making. Assist the Director in managing the federal, state and institutional funds requiring specific knowledge of Federal Regulations and principles of accounting. This position responsibilities include Return of Title IV, reviewing daily disbursement to ensure accurate payment of financial aid and working daily, monthly and semester accounting reports. Reconcile and manage federal, state and outside funds of over $15 million.
Senior Payroll Specialist Overland Park Main Campus
The Senior Payroll Specialist maintains job, leave, and deduction information for approximately 3,000 exempt and nonexempt College employees. The Specialist verifies time from the Banner Web Time Entry System for import into Banner, verifies and enters payment contracts, and verifies and enters any other information necessary for the accurate and timely preparation of the College’s semi-monthly payroll. The Specialist also prepares various remittances and reports for federal, state, and local governmental agencies, and others as required. Total payments to employees, federal, state and local government agencies, college associations, annuity companies, and other organizations exceed $100 million annually.
Recording Arts Studio Assistant Overland Park Main Campus
The Recording Arts Studio Assistant position is to provide support in the recording studio in the CoLab. This position will involve assisting students with recording equipment, inventory, scheduling, assisting the Recording Arts faculty as needed, and other duties as needs arise.
Part-time Barista Overland Park Main Campus
Performs duties consistent with coffee bar operations including: operating POS cash registers according to cash handling guidelines; prepare drinks and serve food according to local, state, and departmental guidelines safely and accurately; ensures a high level of customer service and communication; arrives on time and ready to work.
Sustainability Intern Overland Park Main Campus
Support the college’s goal of becoming a zero waste campus where diversion of materials from reaching the landfill is at or beyond 90%. In order to achieve this goal this position will perform various logistical functions, including sorting, loading, and moving materials, making deliveries and pick-ups on and off campus, serving as a support for surplus property, recycling, compost, and other waste diversion programs. In addition to these functions this position will also assist in maintaining the Center’s facilities and assets. The position requires a hardworking, detail-orientated, focused and enthusiastic individual.
Adjunct Assistant Professor, EMS Overland Park Main Campus
The Adjunct Assistant Professor, EMS, is responsible for facilitating class lectures, labs, and clinical instruction of adult college students and/or high school students for EMR and/or EMT ( EMS121, 128, 131,133 and 140) initial courses of instruction.
Paramedic Lab Clinician Overland Park Main Campus
Paramedic Lab Clinicians are responsible for assisting with the instructional needs of EMS course laboratory sessions. This position works is eligible to work within all EMS courses with lab.

Psychomotor instruction- Lab Clinicians are responsible for assessing, reviewing and correcting student performance within the psychomotor domain in small group settings. Equipment maintenance- Lab Clinicians are required to be responsible stewards of JCCC and program equipment and facilities
Senior Videographer/Editor Overland Park Main Campus
The Senior Videographer/Editor is responsible for operating cameras in the college television studio as well as on location, utilizing video production tools such as cameras, tripods, microphones and lights. The Senior Videographer/Editor is responsible for editing video, editing audio, incorporating graphics and the delivery of different formats to different platforms. The Senior Videographer/Editor often leads teams through project lifecycles and takes part in multi-camera studio and remote productions, including operation of cameras, audio mixers, character generators and video switchers. The Senior Videographer/Editor manages assigned projects from pre-production through delivery.
