Adjunct Assistant Professor, Practical Nursing Olathe Health Education Center (OHEC)
The Adjunct Assistant Professor, Practical Nursing will Teach a maximum of 200 contact hours/semester of lab, clinical and/or simulation instruction for practical nursing students which may include Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal-Child Nursing, and/or Long-Term Care Nursing. The person in this position may teach day and/or evening students to meet program needs. The ideal candidate is one who has demonstrated strong nursing clinical and assessment skills; is comfortable with technology; works well in collaboration with others; is committed to the mission of a community college; is familiar with the scope of practice of an LPN.
SRC Tutor I-Respiratory Care Program Overland Park Main Campus

Lab Instructor Fire Science Overland Park Main Campus
Faculty members are expected to demonstrate and maintain competence in each of the following areas throughout their employment at the college. Lab Instructors teach requisite firefighting skills to prepare students for third party state firefighter certification pertaining to four core curriculums (Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, Fire I, Fire II). Lab Instructors work with, teach, and maintain fire equipment (chain saws, ladders, breathing apparatus, personal protective gear, extrication equipment) to ensure students receive quality and emergency services operations and delivery. Ability to interpret and evaluate theories in the field or discipline and connect subject matter with related fields. Plan and organize instruction in ways which maximize student learning. Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies. Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs. Create and/or modify course revisions appropriate to current Fire and Emergency Services principles and delivery methods. Employ available instructional technology when appropriate. Serve as proctor on the Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT). Required Qualifications:

Assistant Professor, Game Development Overland Park Main Campus
Position Summary: JCCC is searching for Assistant Professor, Game Development position. This position requires expertise in game programming and design. The selected candidate will teach 15 credit hours per semester in Game Development. Additional responsibilities will be to perform other duties expected of full-time faculty, including maintaining scheduled office hours; developing and revising curriculum; training faculty in new curriculum as needed; developing and implementing course and program assessment of student learning outcomes; developing and maintaining relationships with industry and academic partners; participating in college, division, and department meetings; serving on committees; and other duties as assigned. Teaching assignments could be any combination of face to face (day or evening), hybrid or online, and are subject to change as needed.

Welcome guests to the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art (NMOCA) and provide information on current exhibitions or special events.
