CONNECT Mentor Overland Park Main Campus
The CONNECT for Success Mentor serves as a peer support for students enrolled in the CONNECT supported education program. The mentor position is key to the success of CONNECT students learning to navigate the campus, learning social skills and becoming connected with the resources of JCCC. Similar positions would include student ambassadors.
Librarian Overland Park Main Campus
In conjunction with the Faculty Librarian, the Librarian/Archivist arranges and describes materials in the JCCC Archives to improve the access and discovery of archival collections. Utilizing the ArchivesSpace management application, the Librarian/Archivist creates finding aids accessible to the JCCC community and the public.
Supervisor Testing Operations Overland Park Main Campus

Adult Education Digital Literacy Instructor West Park (WPK)
Position is responsible for leading and guiding students working in a JCAE computer lab. Student activities include taking standardized assessments; learning digital literacy skills through North Star assessments; writing essays, resumes and cover letters; and completing online coursework required for their GED® credential through Google Classroom and Aztec. Responsibilities of the computer lab instructor include assigning and overseeing work toward specific learning objectives and troubleshooting technology issues as well as accurate data collection and reporting (assessment scores, attendance, daily progress, etc.). Instructors must be able to properly collect and manage confidential student records. Additional requirements include creating student online profiles, maintaining online records, and offering classroom support when needed.
Adjunct Assistant Professor, Anthropology Overland Park Main Campus
The Department of Anthropology at Johnson County Community College is looking for a diverse pool of applicants for up to two part-time, adjunct faculty positions. The ideal candidate or candidates will be expected to teach one to three sections of Cultural Anthropology or World Cultures.
