Responsible for creating, editing and proofing all print-based material for the Sports Section of the Student Media Center publication. Actively participates in regular budget and editors’ meetings to plan student-centered editorial content. Assists in turning print stories into viable video scripts for production.
Sustainable Agriculture Intern Overland Park Main Campus
This internship is designed to provide a student at JCCC practical experience working at Johnson County Community College's Farm as well as with JCCC's Center for Sustainability on a variety of projects. Successful applicant must be willing to do farm work as well as office work.
Vice President Student Success & Engagement/CSAO Overland Park Main Campus

Director of Human Resources Overland Park Main Campus
The Director of Human Resources provides leadership for and implementation of college-wide HR policies and programs. The Director serves in an advisory capacity to employees, supervisors, and college administration in matters of policy interpretation, contract interpretation, disciplinary and grievance procedures, regulatory changes, strategic and technical human resource issues.
Summer Youth Instructor, National Summer Transportation Institute Overland Park Main Campus
Instruct students grades 7-9 during the National Summer Transportation Institute, June 19-30, 8am-Noon. Supervise learning activities, circulate within the classroom and provide assistance and learning support to students. Accompany students on field trips throughout the metro. Maintain class paperwork and materials.
Campus Police Dispatcher Overland Park Main Campus
The Campus Police Dispatcher dispatches campus police and operates as the primary campus public safety answering point. The Campus Police Dispatcher performs initial caller interviews to determine the appropriate level of service needed in emergency situations and allocates appropriate personnel and resources to incidents. Initiates calls for the campus’ fire and emergency medical response.
Merchandise Receiver Overland Park Main Campus
Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, handle the receiving, logging, and routing of all Merchandise deliveries, check-in, stocking, and returns of merchandise. Perform cyclical and fiscal inventory. Be able to push/pull up to 500 lbs.. Follow up with vendors on any order discrepancies.
Program Director, Continuing Education, Business Solutions Overland Park Main Campus
The Program Director of Business Solutions is a leadership position that is responsible for the strategic management and growth of contract training revenue and enrollment. This position is primarily responsible for proactively generating demand by building a pipeline of qualified contract training prospects, negotiating contracts, closing contracts, managing forecasts to achieve a specified individual sales target, and identifying strategic partners. This position has responsibility for implementation of the department sales process; detailed and consistent reporting in CRM and related databases; and delivery of customized training programs to a wide variety of organizations. Responsibilities may also include: budget and financial oversight including pricing, instructor compensation and billing, supervision of all Business Solutions instructors, subject matter experts, external vendors, and CE direct reports.
Lead Museum Guard Overland Park Main Campus
The Lead Guard provides support, direction and guidance to Museum Guard staff during weekends and evenings when Registrar and Museum Admin staff are not present. This position also serves as the Museum’s point of contact during evenings and weekends.
Senior Tutor, Anatomy & Physiology, SRC Overland Park Main Campus
Tutor students in Anatomy & Human Physiology courses taught at Johnson County Community College. Other responsibilities include referring students to appropriate resources, assist students with computer software necessary for the courses, mentoring new tutors, working in outreach programs, and other duties as requested by the supervisor.
JCAE ESL Instructor/Center of Grace Coordinator Center of Grace, West Park (WPK)
Actively manage on-site operations and ESL instructors at Johnson County Adult Education’s (JCAE’s) Center of Grace (CoG) location Supervise four levels of ESL instruction of approximately 10-12 instructors, 300 students and 10-15 classes per semester at COG.  These classes typically meet Monday through Thursday from 9 am until noon and from 6 until 9 pm. Classes aim at helping students achieve English language and literacy skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, and include instruction in life skills, workplace skills, U.S. civics and citizenship skills, and digital literacy.  The objective of the classes is to enable students to fully participate in our community, enter the workplace, improve workplace skills, and enter post-secondary education.
Printing Specialist, Part-Time Overland Park Main Campus
Part-time Printing Specialists assist the Printing Services department with daily activities of print production operations to meet project expectations and deadlines. Printing Services provides printing, mailing, finishing and other production services to employees at JCCC. Printing Specialists perform a variety of technical support for order processing, operation of printers, related print finishing hardware and mailing software and will assist with the cleaning and maintenance of equipment.

Assistant Professor, Information Technology Overland Park Main Campus
This faculty position in the Information Technology-Networking department is within the Computing Sciences and Information Technology Division.
Executive Director Inclusion & Belonging Overland Park Main Campus
The Executive Director, Inclusion and Belonging contributes to the College’s mission, vision, and values through engagement with and implementation of evidence-based and research-backed methods and practices to support, collaborate, and coordinate with current JCCC teams to further maximize inclusion and bolster diversity, equity, and belonging on campus. The Executive Director will have the opportunity to establish and grow the department as an expert within the field to maximize inclusion efforts across the institution for all potential and current students to achieve their goals.
Skilled Trades Lab Aide Overland Park Main Campus
The Skilled Trades Lab Aide will be responsible for assisting the Workforce Development and Continuing Education staff in maintaining clean and orderly skilled trades laboratories and classrooms. The Aide will assist in setting up for workforce development training and open enrollment courses based on schedules and locations of training. They will ensure equipment is cataloged and maintained, and complete or request maintenance as needed. The Aide will assist in ensuring equipment and supplies are ready and available when needed for training and courses including but not limited to welding coupons, automotive tech materials, deburring equipment, PLC equipment, construction materials, or plumbing materials.
Senior Videographer/Editor Overland Park Main Campus
The Senior Videographer/Editor is responsible for operating cameras in the college television studio as well as on location, utilizing video production tools such as cameras, tripods, microphones and lights. The Senior Videographer/Editor is responsible for editing video, editing audio, incorporating graphics and the delivery of different formats to different platforms. The Senior Videographer/Editor often leads teams through project lifecycles and takes part in multi-camera studio and remote productions, including operation of cameras, audio mixers, character generators and video switchers. The Senior Videographer/Editor manages assigned projects from pre-production through delivery.
Editor-in-Chief, Student Media Center Overland Park Main Campus
Oversees the Student Media Center, inclusive of the student online newspaper and the student video production team. Plans student-centered editorial content with student editors and staff, including assignment of stories, photos, cartoons and videos, and setting of deadlines. Approves and posts content on Student Media Center website. Conducts regular staff meetings and monitors staff progress. Collaborates with advertising and social media staff regarding content and image presentation. Serves as spokesperson for the Student Media Center. Hires staff with assistance of Student Media Coordinator.
Clinical Adjunct Professor, CNA Olathe Health Education Center (OHEC)
The Adjunct Assistant Professor, Certified Nurse Aide is responsible for assisting in labs, and facilitating clinical instruction of health occupations students during fall, spring and/or summer semester.
Adjunct Faculty, Web Applications Overland Park Main Campus
The selected candidates will teach the WEB-prefixed courses that fulfill the requirements for our two-year Web Development and Digital Media AAS degree. The degree includes three built-in certificates depending on the course path chosen by the student: Web Technologies, Web Development, and Digital Media. Performing tasks that may involve web design and development, technical troubleshooting of content, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries, such as; React, Vue, user-centered design, and web usability. As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll provide program instruction in an online or face-to-face or face-to-face hybrid or web hybrid format, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline.
