Application Architecture Manager Overland Park Main Campus
Responsible for overseeing the architecture, development, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of enterprise level applications and solutions for cloud-based and on-premise systems. Manages application integrations and aligns relevance of the features to the college and its culture. Advocates for application, data, and business integration to increase college efficiency and collaboration. Provides strategic leadership and direction for the enterprise application administrator team, analysis and consulting services, and ensures the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure enterprise level application solutions to enhance the digital experience and meet the needs of the organization.
English Connections Instructor West Park (WPK)
Provide English instruction to students who are transitioning from basic life-skill English classes into GED-level academic coursework, college transition or higher career placement. Instruction will be in reading, grammar, writing, vocabulary development, civics, and digital literacy at an intermediate to low-advanced level. Development of daily lesson plans to keep student attention, adhere to state and local academic standards and increase student success. Facilitate standardized testing for benchmarking. Engage community volunteers to assist with one-on-one instruction with learners. Create reports and maintain records. Participate in professional development events.
Adult Basic Education/GED Instructor Olathe Health Education Center (OHEC)
Provide learner-centered instruction for basic literacy and math through high school equivalency/college readiness skills in reading, writing, math computation, applied math, science and social studies in preparation for taking the 2014 GED® exam. Create individual education plans for each learner and monitor progress toward passing the 2014 GED® exam. Instruct students one-on-one and in small groups. Guide and supervise ongoing study. Engage community volunteers to assist with one-on-one instruction with learners. Create reports and maintain records. Participate in professional development events.
Police Officer Overland Park Main Campus
The JCCC Police Officer provides law enforcement and public safety services to the college community to include but not limited to enforcement of criminal statutes, parking and traffic enforcement, crime prevention, patrol activity, accident investigation, resolution of domestic and other disturbances, prosecution support, non-criminal public safety services, enforcement of college policies, rules, and regulations.

Driver's Education instructor Overland Park Main Campus
Prepare new student drivers for successful licensure through classroom and on-the-road instruction consistent with Kansas DMV requirements and standards in order to prepare student drivers for successful licensure. The Driver Education Instructor will prepare and deliver a classroom instructional program for students, plus 6 hours of driving lessons with each student.

Adult Education Digital Literacy Instructor West Park (WPK)
Position is responsible for leading and guiding students working in a JCAE computer lab. Student activities include taking standardized assessments; learning digital literacy skills through North Star assessments; writing essays, resumes and cover letters; and completing online coursework required for their GED® credential through Google Classroom and Aztec. Responsibilities of the computer lab instructor include assigning and overseeing work toward specific learning objectives and troubleshooting technology issues as well as accurate data collection and reporting (assessment scores, attendance, daily progress, etc.). Instructors must be able to properly collect and manage confidential student records. Additional requirements include creating student online profiles, maintaining online records, and offering classroom support when needed.

Health and Human Services (HHS) provides quality continuing education for health care professionals that meet licensing requirements for RNs, APRNs, LPNs, social workers, counselors, registered dietitians, respiratory therapists, psychologists, massage therapists, physical and occupational therapists, and nursing home administrators. Qualified instructors are needed to develop and deliver various HHS classes. Classes are conducted in a continuing education classroom environment, live online, or at a client site in the morning, afternoon or evening sessions during weekdays or weekends.
