Evening English Connection Instructor Center of Grace
Provide English instruction to students who are transitioning from basic life-skill English classes into GED-level academic coursework, college transition or higher career placement. Instruction will be in reading, grammar, writing, vocabulary development, civics, and digital literacy at an intermediate to low-advanced level. Development of daily lesson plans to keep student attention, adhere to state and local academic standards and increase student success. Facilitate standardized testing for benchmarking. Engage community volunteers to assist with one-on-one instruction with learners. Create reports and maintain records. Participate in professional development events.

The Cloud Solution Architect is responsible for working with the team to create, recommend, and implement an overall architecture that will meet evolving infrastructure and application requirements. The Unified Communications & Collaborations engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of advanced IT solutions for Unified Communications and Collaboration systems. This role focuses on enhancing communication through email, video conferencing, and collaborative tools tailored for the modern workplace. The engineer will provide expert technical support for across various systems, including email, calendaring, instant messaging, presence management, spam control, web conferencing, IP Telephony, video conferencing, document sharing and other enterprise-wide collaboration solutions.
Adjunct Japanese Professor Overland Park Main Campus
Position Summary: The Foreign Language department is seeking a Japanese adjunct professor to substitute and/or teach Elementary and Intermediate level Japanese language courses in the evening on Zoom or in person. JCCC is located in Overland Park, KS, the second largest city in the state of Kansas and part of the greater Kansas City Metro. The Kansas City Metro is known for its museums, restaurants, and music and art scenes. JCCC is similarly dedicated to creating and maintaining a rich cultural community, with an award-winning contemporary art museum and center for the performing arts located on campus. The Foreign Language Department is part of the Communications Division. Many of our students are non-traditional, military veterans, immigrants, international and first-generation college students. JCCC has a diverse student population and is dedicated to increasing its diversity. The successful applicant for this job will teach the equivalent of 5-10 credit hours per semester in Japanese or will serve as a substitute for day and/or evening courses. This person will perform other duties expected of adjunct faculty, to include collaborating and working successfully with other full-time and adjunct faculty in the Foreign Language department and other duties as assigned.
Assistant Professor, Psychology Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College (JCCC) is seeking a full-time faculty member in our Psychology Department. The faculty in the department teach courses in Introduction to Psychology, Applied Psychology, Child Development, Human Development, Social Psychology, Health Psychology, Human Sexuality, Educational Psychology, Statistics, and Research Methods. These courses are the foundation for students preparing for careers in psychology, education, nursing, allied health care, business, and other social sciences. Many of our students transfer to four-year programs in psychology. JCCC has created partnerships with many colleges and universities to allow students a nearly seamless transfer program on their path to earning a degree quickly and affordably.
Evening Adult Basic Education/GED Instructor Olathe Health Education Center (OHEC)
Provide learner-centered instruction for basic literacy and math through high school equivalency/college readiness skills in reading, writing, math computation, applied math, science, and social studies in preparation for taking the 2014 GED® exam. Create individual education plans for each learner and monitor progress toward passing the 2014 GED® exam. Instruct students one-on-one and in small groups. Guide and supervise ongoing study. Engage community volunteers to assist with one-on-one instruction with learners. Create reports and maintain records. Participate in professional development events.
Assistant Professor, Plumbing Technology Overland Park Main Campus
The JCCC Plumbing Technology department is seeking a full-time faculty instructor to teach every course in the plumbing program. Our program prepares students to work as journeyman licensed plumbers in a commercial and/or a residential setting. The ideal candidate for this position will have plumbing experience in the field along with teaching experience and a strong desire to deliver quality education that will make a difference in the lives of our students. The candidate should be available to both day and evening classes.
Tutor I - Nursing & A&P Olathe Health Education Center (OHEC)
Tutor students in the LPN program & Anatomy & Physiology course. Tutor will provide support to students in the LPN program and A&P courses in OHEC with content material, help students with critical thinking skills, provide assistance with clinicals, and prepare for exams. Students have been found struggling to connect their subject matter with real life scenarios. The tutor will provide coaching to help students connect content matter with real life scenarios which is key to students in LPN program.

Compensation Manager Overland Park Main Campus
The Compensation Manager works closely with the Vice President and Director of the Human Resources Department. This position is responsible for developing and leading Johnson County Community College’s (JCCC) compensation program and initiatives. The Compensation Manager provides strategic input to the development of compensation policies and practices, offers compensation advice and support, and conducts internal and external pay analysis. The role also ensures that JCCC’s compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.

This includes enforcement of criminal statutes with full arrest authority, parking and traffic enforcement, crime prevention, patrol activity, accident investigation, resolution of domestic and other disturbances, prosecution support, non-criminal public safety services, and enforcement of college policies, rules, and regulations.
Adjunct Faculty, HVAC Overland Park Main Campus
The ideal candidate for Adjunct Assistant Professor HVAC, will have working knowledge and experience working with heat pumps, furnaces, and air conditioning equipment.
