Teach one (1) or two (2) section(s) of JCCC course CMGT-100 Industrial Safety/OSHA-30 in the Fall 2024 & Spring 2025 semester. Conduct a 30-Hour OSHA Outreach Training course simultaneous with a 3-credit hour college course for Freshmen Welding (Metal Fabrication) students. Classes would be weekly (on Fridays) in-person / on-campus, with a maximum 18 students per class.
Responsibilities would include both OSHA Authorized Instructor record-keeping and Trainer responsibilities in addition to College Instructor record-keeping, grading, testing, and related responsibilities.

Attend trainings on topics pertaining to tutoring techniques and working with students of varying abilities. Other responsibilities include referring students to appropriate resources, assisting students, faculty, and staff in the AAC, working in outreach programs, and other duties as assigned.

CDL A Instructor – Truck Driver Trainer

Johnson County Community College is seeking experienced CDL Truck Drivers to conduct CDL training classes. JCCC offers commercial truck driver training courses to prepare new drivers for their commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A. In this role, we instruct people how to properly conduct pre-trip inspections and safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. This is a part-time position. Number of workdays per month are flexible. Hours are based on course schedules and could include weekdays, evenings, and weekends as available.
