Coordinator, Access Control Overland Park Main Campus
The Access Control Coordinator greats visitors and oversees a variety of daily administrative and clerical tasks to ensure efficient office operations. This role demands a high level of professionalism in managing confidential employee records and overseeing access control items within the college’s access control system. The coordinator is responsible for interpreting and implementing college policies, procedures, and best practices related to physical key and access card management. Key duties include processing employee IDs and parking permits, providing administrative and technical support, generating reports, and participating in lockdown testing to maintain operational effectiveness. Attention to detail is essential for keeping database software platforms accurate and up to date. The primary objective of this role is to optimize office efficiency and maximize value to the college. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Bookstore General Buyer Overland Park Main Campus
Under direct supervision of Course Materials Supervisor coordinate the timely submission of adoption forms, perform specialized purchasing of applicable course materials and ancillary items for specifically assigned areas. Maintain existing inventory in assigned areas, using system reports to aid in purchasing and cyclical inventory preparation.

Lab Instructor Fire Science Overland Park Main Campus
Faculty members are expected to demonstrate and maintain competence in each of the following areas throughout their employment at the college. Lab Instructors teach requisite firefighting skills to prepare students for third party state firefighter certification pertaining to four core curriculums (Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, Fire I, Fire II). Lab Instructors work with, teach, and maintain fire equipment (chain saws, ladders, breathing apparatus, personal protective gear, extrication equipment) to ensure students receive quality and emergency services operations and delivery. Ability to interpret and evaluate theories in the field or discipline and connect subject matter with related fields. Plan and organize instruction in ways which maximize student learning. Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies. Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs. Create and/or modify course revisions appropriate to current Fire and Emergency Services principles and delivery methods. Employ available instructional technology when appropriate. Serve as proctor on the Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT). Required Qualifications:
CPAT Proctor and Trainer Overland Park Main Campus
Proctor will proctor and train potential candidates in the National Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT). Proctors will properly set up the eight CPAT stations and equipment prior to the test, accurately, safely, and confidentially proctor the test and accurately document the outcome to ensure test paperwork is properly handled.  Demonstrate - will train and demonstrate potential candidates on the eight skill stations and equipment of the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT). Proctors will properly set up the eight CPAT stations and equipment prior to the test, validate the operation of the skills stations, and the testing conditions prior to the test, demonstrate the skills stations.
Adjunct Assistant Professor, EMS Overland Park Main Campus
The Adjunct Assistant Professor, EMS, is responsible for facilitating class lectures, labs, and clinical instruction of adult college students and/or high school students for EMR and/or EMT ( EMS121, 128, 131,133 and 140) initial courses of instruction.
