Work Schedule, Hours per week: Days, Nights, Weekends, 12 hours per week

Pay Range:  $20.02-22.89 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: Psychomotor instruction- Lab Clinicians are responsible for assessing, reviewing and correcting student performance within the psychomotor domain in small group settings.

Equipment maintenance- Lab Clinicians are required to be responsible stewards of JCCC and program equipment and facilities

Ability to work 5-10 hours per week (during scheduled lab times).

Required Qualifications: Kansas EMT Licensure: Active and in good standing. Candidate must attach a PDF of their current Kansas EMS certification when applying.

Working Knowledge of EMS Equipment: Demonstrates familiarity with and proper use of EMS equipment, including maintenance and troubleshooting as applicable.

Lab Instruction Skills: Ability to lead practical lab sessions, demonstrating techniques effectively, ensuring a safe learning environment, and providing constructive feedback on student performance.

Student Assessment and Feedback: Capable of assessing student competencies through lab exercises, providing clear, actionable feedback, and guiding students to improve their skills.
Professionalism and Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with students, ensuring clarity in instruction and modeling professional behavior expected in clinical practice.
Minimum of one-year full-time EMS (911) experience or equivalent PT (2700 hours)

Preferred Qualifications: Kansas AEMT licensure.
Associates Degree or higher. Candidate must attach PDF of unofficial transcripts when applying for consideration.
AHA CPR, PALS, ACLS or PHTLS Instructor- current certification – must attach PDF of any current instructor cards.
Five years full-time EMS experience or equivalent PT (13,500 hours)
Current or recent experience in transporting (911) based EMS work. (emergency ambulance operations and related patient-care experience)

*Unofficial transcripts are required for all Adjunct faculty and Faculty positions.
