Position Summary: The Athletic Event Worker will assist in game operations at campus sporting events, and perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to perform mathematical calculations and follow oral and written instructions
- Should be knowledgeable and have the ability to successfully perform the duties assigned
- Work well with the public and community members
- Must be able to work flexible hours, split shifts, evenings, and weekends

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Set up and tear down sporting event areas.
- Ensure the sound system is in working order and play music feed from the selected song playlist.
- Operate and maintain the concession stand, take orders, serve food/beverages, accept payments, maintain inventory, and handle cash.
- Work the field or court of the sporting event to chase down balls and put them in the appropriate place.
- Operate the check-in door or gate and ensure tickets are available for purchase and petty cash is on hand to complete transactions.
- Arrive 30 minutes prior to game time to ensure proper setup and organization of the event.
- Perform post-event breakdown and clean-up.
- Provide excellent customer service to coaches, parents, players, and officials.
