Collaboration Center Support Specialist Overland Park Main Campus
The primary job is to support JCCC’s Student Agency. Responsibilities will include project management, meeting with students, clients and potential faculty, and providing information about Student Agency to the community. When not working with Student Agency, attention will be given to the CoLab, JCCC’s Collaboration Center, supporting its mission to create collaborative, experiential learning opportunities for students and faculty which include responsibility for space and event management, physical scheduling, virtual scheduling, webinar support, daily facility maintenance, light technical support and superior service for faculty, staff, students, and community visitors. Demonstrate and troubleshoot technology usage in the workspaces. Learn new technologies and train faculty and students. Administrative Assistant ARC Overland Park Main Campus

Admissions Assistant Overland Park Main Campus

Tutor, American Sign Language Overland Park Main Campus
Provide one on one instruction in ASL courses in the Language Resource Center. Assist walk-in students from all disciplines with interventions and strategies to learn effectively in all content areas. Other tasks will include individualizing instruction, diagnosing learning barriers, and constructing student learning plans. May also include directing students to needed campus resources and responding to online requests for class support, as well as rectifying software issues.

Under the direction of the bookstore director, the course materials supervisor performs duties which results in the purchase of required course materials for resale. The responsibilities of this position include engagement with faculty and publishers, product knowledge, competitive pricing, on-line purchasing, and customer satisfaction. Maintenance Mechanic Overland Park Main Campus
This Evening Maintenance Position will perform assigned preventive maintenance work orders, respond to emergency calls and repair or report to supervisor on severity or response needed. Majority of work will be in specific area of HVAC such as changing filters, grease bearings, changing belts, and ensuring proper operation of equipment. Other tasks could include Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, and Grounds. Assist in snow removal when needed.

Regional Director, Kansas SBDC Overland Park Main Campus
The Regional Director leads and manages two Federally funded programs, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the APEX Accelerator Program at JCCC. The Director provides strategic direction in development of consulting services, programs and resources for entrepreneurs seeking to launch, expand, stabilize or transition their small business in Johnson, Wyandotte and Miami County, Kansas. The Director is responsible for actively engaging in community outreach and legislative events, innovative professional development, fiscal management of JCCC and multiple federal grant budgets, and the collection of economic impact data.
Collections Specialist Overland Park Main Campus
The Collections Specialist is primarily responsible for internal collection efforts within the Bursar’s Office. Responsibilities include communicating with students, companies, and collection agencies to aid in the recovery of past due student and non-student accounts, managing holds, and counseling students on payment options. The Collections Specialist also assists the Billing & AR Coordinator with external collection efforts and reporting.

Adjunct Faculty, Construction Management Overland Park Main Campus
Teach one (1) or two (2) section(s) of JCCC course CMGT-100 Industrial Safety/OSHA-30 in the Fall 2024 & Spring 2025 semester. Conduct a 30-Hour OSHA Outreach Training course simultaneous with a 3-credit hour college course for Freshmen Welding (Metal Fabrication) students. Classes would be weekly (on Fridays) in-person / on-campus, with a maximum 18 students per class. Responsibilities would include both OSHA Authorized Instructor record-keeping and Trainer responsibilities in addition to College Instructor record-keeping, grading, testing, and related responsibilities.
Supervisor Bookstore Warehouse Overland Park Main Campus
Under the direction of the Bookstore Assistant Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the warehouse staff and the receiving, logging and routing of all Bookstore deliveries, check-in, pricing, stocking and return of textbooks and merchandise. The Warehouse Supervisor and staff ships merchandise from all departments within the Bookstore and works with the Bookstore Buyers on floor maintenance, shelf stocking and inventory management. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with the bookstore management team in the development shipping and receiving policies and procedures and researching and solving receiving/shipping discrepancies.

JCCC is seeking a qualified candidate for Assistant Professor to build and teach a new Machining Technology program. This candidate is expected to serve as a content expert in all machining related courses. Responsibilities include developing curriculum and teaching all aspects of machining technology including theory, methods, materials, print reading, measurement, inspection, manual machining and CNC machining in accordance with KBOR requirements. Most courses include laboratory and lecture sections, will initially be offered during the day and eventually evening hours as the program grows.
