Adjunct Assistant Professor, Fine Arts Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is looking to fill an adjunct teaching position in our Fine Art program. This position will teach at least one section of Metals & Silversmithing in the Fall semester of 2024 with the possibility of additional and future Fine Art teaching assignments.
Adjunct Faculty, HVAC Overland Park Main Campus
The ideal candidate for Adjunct Assistant Professor HVAC, will have working knowledge and experience working with heat pumps, furnaces, and air conditioning equipment. This position requires the availability to teach between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm. Monday and Wednesday nights OR Tuesdays and Thursday nights.
Coordinator, Development Overland Park Main Campus
The Coordinator - Development works directly with the Program Director – Development on the design and implementation of a comprehensive plan for internal, campus fundraising and community engagement strategies. The position is responsible for building internal relationships with faculty and staff, understanding their fundraising needs, and executing best practice strategies to support those goals. The Coordinator –Development manages all activities related to internal fundraising including planning, developing and implementing these strategic initiatives for new and existing revenue and cultivation opportunities, including campus fundraising events, payroll deduction campaigns, and other marketing/communications strategies with support from the Program Director – Development. In addition, this position will support new and existing events such as Some Enchanted Evening and Sips and Scholarships (new).
Motorcycle Range Aide Overland Park Main Campus
The Motorcycle Range Aid assists the MSF Rider Coach Motorcycle instructor's Instruction on the range. Responsibilities include range instruction exercise set up, garage storage structure and organization, and assuring safety standards are maintained.
Coordinator, International Education Overland Park Main Campus

Sustainable Agriculture Intern Overland Park Main Campus
This internship is designed to provide a student at JCCC practical experience working at Johnson County Community College's Farm as well as with JCCC's Center for Sustainability on a variety of projects. Successful applicant must be willing to do farm work as well as office work.
Adjunct Assistant Professor - Engineering Overland Park Main Campus
JCCC is looking for applicants for a part-time faculty position in the Engineering Department. The ideal candidate would be expected to instruct students in the Engineering Orientation class. The intent of this course is to introduce students to the engineering industry and the engineering problem-solving process, and to help each student make the best career decision. Student Support Technician Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Support Technician serves as the first point-of-contact for JCCC student support. This position is responsible for initial triage and assistance in determining the resolution of student issues, escalation of issues to higher level technical support professionals when necessary, and reporting of trends when requests appear to be out of the ordinary. The Student Support Technician will also be directly involved in the JCCC knowledge management process.

Assistant Professor, Electronics Overland Park Main Campus
The JCCC Electronics Technology department is seeking a full-time faculty instructor to teach courses in analog and digital electronics. Our program prepares students to work as electronic technicians. All our coursework combines classroom and hands-on laboratory experiences; critical thinking skills emphasized include troubleshooting and analysis. Our digital electronics sequence covers a wide range of topics including binary and hexadecimal number systems, basic Boolean algebra, logic gates, registers, flip-flops, computer architecture, microprocessors, microcontrollers, embedded programming concepts, and analog/digital interfacing. The sequence culminates in a capstone experience where students implement a unique digital system centered around a microcontroller.
Deputy Chief Information Officer, Infrastructure and Operations Overland Park Main Campus
The Deputy Chief Information Officer for Infrastructure and Operations (DCIO) is the most senior role in the Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) function within Information Services. This position oversees the management, operations, and maintenance of JCCC’s computing infrastructure, information systems, networks, data centers, hardware, software, and services supporting a broad portfolio of applications and business capabilities. As a key member of the senior IT leadership team, this role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy, ensuring that the I&O strategy is fully aligned to deliver compelling business value. The DCIO works with IS leaders and staff to measure, assess, adapt, tune, and continuously improve all information and technology-related service offerings, defining and evaluating KPIs for services and delivery teams. They evaluate the full lifecycle and flow of work for I&O efforts, using established governance processes to make timely, data-informed decisions about the relative priority of IT projects and investments. The DCIO collaborates with the CIO, IS, and college leaders to drive digital transformation outcomes across the institution, balancing stability with innovation. They must cultivate relationships between service delivery teams and business teams, fostering a culture focused on delivering valuable services in support of the JCCC mission, vision, and values.
CLEAR Aide Overland Park Main Campus
Assist with educational programs and life skills training for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for the College Learning Experiences, Activities, and Resources (CLEAR) program.
Admissions Navigator Overland Park Main Campus
Utilize strategic enrollment activities to assist prospective students (and their parents/influencers) through the admission process. Build relationships with prospects, engage them in the JCCC community, and connect them with resources as needed to navigate their college path. Coach prospective students in academic support and major exploration. Determine how transfer-in coursework aligns with academic programs. Track student progression through challenges and barriers that could impede transition. Advise students through program exploration and entrance, and applicable academic/program policies. Navigate prospective students into their academic program or pathway. Suggest appropriate course options by creating an academic plan to support the student’s goals. Form effective relationships with academic and student services programs to facilitate student success. Effectively use the appropriate software program to manage a caseload of students, conduct proactive outreach, follow up on concerns, and refer students to appropriate resources. Primary referral will be to counseling for academic plan development and holistic counseling.
Counselor Overland Park Main Campus
Support the mental health, academic, and career counseling needs of students through their time at Johnson County Community College (JCCC), providing counseling sessions, training opportunities, workshops, and presentations. Serve in multiple capacities, including academic advisors, teachers, personal counselors, career counselors, consultants, student advocates, and leaders on campus.
Senior Buyer - Business Services Overland Park Main Campus
Promotes the most effective use of college funds in acquiring commodities and services. Heavy emphasis on business services and commodities such as the following: banking, financial, insurance, employee benefits, legal, space rental and vehicle lease agreements, and other professional services. This position also occasionally serves a backup to the other Senior Buyers within the areas of Architecture/Engineering/Construction and Information Technology commodities and services. Evaluates market conditions, defines needs with departments, and manages sourcing through various bidding methods. Reviews, establishes, negotiates, and manages contracts for the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Procurement Department. Leads and manages daily activities in the absence of the Procurement Director.
Enterprise Applications Administrator Overland Park Main Campus
Analyze, program, and implement cloud or on-premise enterprise software applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, BI, EAI) to support business objectives. Responsible for all aspects of the enterprise software application life cycle, including coordination with user groups to identify solutions that improve business processes, implement process and system changes, and provide system training and other user-focused activities. Plan and manage the installation of enterprise application upgrades, integrations, and other systems changes.
