Starting Salary Range:  $73,109.00-$96,115.00 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: The Marketing Solutions Manager supports JCCC by serving as a consultative partner to campus stakeholders, leading strategic discovery, scoping marketing projects, and managing lifecycle accounts for marketing initiatives. This position develops clear strategic project briefs, ensures alignment with institutional goals and brand standards, and collaborates with internal teams to deliver effective, audience-centered campaigns. The incumbent monitors project progress, evaluates outcomes, and recommends process improvements to enhance efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction while supporting the College’s mission.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, project management, marketing operations, or related fields.
  • 6+ years of experience in account management, marketing strategy, or project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher education experience. Experience with project management and analytic tools.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lifecycle Account Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with campus partners to proactively identify marketing needs while remaining responsive to ad hoc stakeholder requests.
    • Collaborate with the Traffic and Resource Manager to transition scoped projects into production with complete and actionable information.
    • Monitor project milestones from a “client" perspective to ensure deliverables align with the original strategic intent and JCCC brand standards.
  • Strategic Discovery & Project Scoping:
    • Lead discovery sessions to define project requirements, objectives, target audiences, and impact.
    • Develop strategic briefs that guide creative and tactical executions, ensuring the department has clear parameters and defined success metrics to guide brainstorming and ideation to identify tactical solutions.
    • Negotiate competing priorities and sensitivities among diverse campus partners, serving as a trusted advisor to ensure appropriate resource allocation and priority.
    • Maintain project team/stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations, and ensuring final deliverables meet articulated goals. 
  • Impact Assessment & Innovation:
    • Conduct post-project debriefs and provide stakeholders with wrap-up reports that analyze project outcomes and performance against initial goals.
    • Recommend improvements to intake, scoping, and feedback processes to enhance efficiency and partner satisfaction.
    • Monitor higher education and industry trends to reach target audiences.
