Clinical Instructor, Registered Nursing Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking part-time clinical instructors to teach in the area of Med/Surg, in the acute care hospital setting, starting in the spring 2027 term. The clinical instructor will work with a group of our ADN students at a clinical agency setting one (1) day a week, and will remain on the same day each week. Hospital clinical assignments take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday. Groups could be 1st semester, 2nd semester, or 4th (final) semester students in the spring. Each individual may be asked to be available for on campus activities as needed, which may fall on a day other than their assigned clinical day.
Athletic Team Shuttle Driver Overland Park Main Campus
The Part-Time Athletic Driver provides safe, dependable, and timely transportation for student-athletes, coaches, and athletic staff to and from scheduled sports events, tournaments, and off-site practices. Operating on an as-needed, seasonal basis that aligns directly with the academic and sports calendars, this role serves as a vital operational support link for the athletic department. The incumbent is a professional representative of the institution, ensuring strict adherence to travel schedules and road safety regulations while fostering a supportive environment for the team.
Adjunct Faculty Mathematics Overland Park Main Campus
Teach one or more mathematics and/or statistics courses ranging from Contemporary Math through Differential Equations and Business Statistics. Classes will be available during the summer, fall, and spring semesters and will be taught on the JCCC campus in a face-to-face format.
Technical Theatre Adjunct / Scenic and Lighting Overland Park Main Campus
Tech Adjunct professors are utilized to teach special topics courses in Lighting, Scenic design and production, as well as potentially take on sections of stagecraft. This position will also design one or more extra curricular productions per academic year as determined with the full time faculty. (Usually this will be a scenic or lighting design, but could branch into sound, projections, and costumes depending on skillsets.)
Tutor II, Writing Center Overland Park Main Campus
Tutor students through a variety of modalities and methods in specific subjects; refer students to other relevant resources. Assist with center-specific projects and training as appropriate; assist with other daily activities in the relevant center. Fulfills key function of working one-on-one with students in the Writing Center.
Adjunct Assistant Nursing Professor, Simulation Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking two (2) adjunct nursing faculty to teach in the Zamierowski Center for Healthcare Simulation (ZCHS). The ZCHS adjunct nursing faculty is a clinically experienced subject matter expert who is responsible for facilitating student learning and performance in the on-site simulation center. The ZCHS provides an immersive simulation learning experience for Associate Degree Nursing (ADN-Registered Nurse) students. The adjunct nursing faculty will be responsible for working with faculty, students, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure that the highest quality simulation learning activities are efficiently integrated and implemented across the nursing curriculum. These positions involves the use of interactive and simulated technology, with evidence-based simulation models, to implement and evaluate simulation scenarios as an educational modality. Adjunct nursing faculty will provide clinical, educational, and technical expertise in simulation-based activities in the ZCHS. Faculty will work as part of the ZCHS team to provide current best practice for patient scenarios during a simulation clinical day which compliments the pre-licensure nursing curriculum. Faculty will be actively involved with scenario implementation, facilitation, and debriefing for learners. Student learning activities will include resolving simple-to-complex patient care situations via high-fidelity simulation. Adjunct nursing faculty are responsible for setting up and tearing down simulation scenario environments, and preconference activities. Other team duties may also be assigned. Although simulation days would begin in the spring 2027 semester (late January/early February), current ZCHS team members would prefer to offer some training sessions late this fall for the new adjunct faculty.
Financial Aid Regulations Administrator Overland Park Main Campus
The Financial Aid Regulations Administrator supports JCCC’s mission by helping ensure financial aid processes are accurate, consistent, student-centered, and compliant. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Financial Aid, the position coordinates identity verification and ID.me administration, maintains controlled documents and compliance records, performs quality assurance monitoring, and supports fraud prevention, audit readiness, training, and special initiatives. Working in coordination with compliance staff, the Administrator implements approved procedures, responds to routine questions, assists students and campus partners, and escalates matters requiring regulatory interpretation, investigative judgment, policy decisions, or elevated risk assessment. This position reports to Processing Supervisor, Financial Aid.
Admissions Ambassador- CAV Leader Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Admissions Ambassador or CAV Leader at JCCC serves as a primary receptionist by greeting all guests and visiting campus community members. The Admissions Ambassador ensures that visitors are acknowledged and that they feel welcome. The Admissions Ambassadors support the Recruitment Coordinator and recruitment team. An integral component of the job is working as part of a team of students and recruitment staff to provide quality tours and visit experiences for all college guests. The Admissions Ambassador is a highly visible student employee who will have a vast array of knowledge about the Student Services and Engagement as well as academic and support programs across campus to provide accurate information to visitors. The Admissions Ambassadors will be a part of a collaborative recruitment department that supports coworkers by utilizing available computer systems and technology to maintain accurate databases and information for reporting purposes.
KDOC Instructor West Park (WPK)
The KDOC Instructor provides high-quality instruction to incarcerated adult learners at Lansing Correctional Facility. This position supports students in developing foundational academic skills, preparing for the GED exam, and progressing toward educational and career pathways that support successful reentry. The instructor collaborates closely with KDOC staff, Adult Education Navigators, Career Navigators, and facility partners to ensure seamless program delivery. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position located at The Lansing Correctional facility. This position reports to Lansing Correctional Facility Education Coordinator.
Administrative Lab Assistant Overland Park Main Campus
The Lab Assistant, Fashion Merchandise provides administrative, operational, and laboratory support to the Fashion Merchandising & Design (FM&D) program. This position is responsible for coordinating supplies and inventory, preparing instructional spaces and laboratories, supporting faculty and student activities, assisting with departmental events, maintaining program communications and marketing efforts, and ensuring safe and effective learning environments. The Administrative/Lab Assistant serves as a key resource in supporting instructional excellence, student engagement, and program initiatives.
Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist Overland Park Main Campus
The Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist is primarily responsible for internal collection efforts within Bursar’s Office. Responsibilities include communicating with students, companies, and collection agencies to aid in the recovery of past due student and non-student accounts, and counseling students on payment options. The Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist also assists the Billing and Student Accounts Receivable Coordinator with external collection efforts and reporting. This position reports to the Billing & Student Accounts Coordinator.

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Dirt Bike School instructor is responsible for delivering the MSF Dirt Bike School curriculum and training at our off-road motorcycle training site located in Tonganoxie, Kansas. Responsibilities include training site class preparation and cleanup, administration of required forms and waivers, and delivering off-road motorcycle instruction to up to 6 students at a time. Instructors must adhere to the MSF curriculum and maintain safety standards at all times.
