Position Summary: Health and Human Services (HHS) provides quality continuing education for health care professionals that meet licensing requirements for RNs, APRNs, LPNs, social workers, counselors, registered dietitians, respiratory therapists, psychologists, massage therapists, physical and occupational therapists, and nursing home administrators. Qualified instructors are needed to develop and deliver various HHS classes. Classes are conducted in a continuing education classroom environment, live online, or at a client site in the morning, afternoon or evening sessions during weekdays or weekends.

HHS instructors should be prepared to create seminars that draw from their own professional background, work experience and from current medical and scientific reviews that the audience can draw from to enhance their own practice as well as earn continuing education hours for re-licensing purposes. Instructors are expected to provide quality teaching materials including documentation to substantiate teaching. While courses are designed to fulfill continuing education needs for several healthcare fields, this position is specifically designed for nurses.

Required Qualifications: Teaching experience
Experience with PowerPoint, Canvas and Zoom

Preferred Qualifications: Professional nursing credential such as APRN or RN
5 years of experience in nursing
Experience teaching seminars and workshops
