Manager, Student Life & Engagement Overland Park Main Campus
The Manager, Student Activities & Leadership Development supports JCCC’s mission by providing leadership, vision, and oversight for the strategic execution of campus events and essential student-facing services. This role is responsible for enhancing the overall student experience by managing high-impact programming, optimizing student engagement spaces, and ensuring the operational excellence of front-line service areas. As a key bridge between administrative efficiency and student development, the incumbent supervises a diverse team, maintains institutional policy compliance, and leverages data-driven insights to foster a sense of belonging and drive retention across the campus community.
Adjunct Faculty, Pickleball Overland Park Main Campus
The Health and Wellness Department is seeking adjunct faculty to teach credit pickleball activity courses within the department curriculum. These courses are taught every semester and may vary with regard to time and days each semester. The successful applicant for this job will teach the equivalent of 1-9 credit hours per semester in the HPER department. This person will perform other duties expected of adjunct faculty, including collaborating and working successfully with other full-time and adjunct faculty in the HPER department and other duties as assigned. Teaching assignments could be day, evening, or weekend courses, and hybrid or on-line and are subject to change as needed. Additional responsibilities include: Participate in the planning and administration of all departmental initiatives. Participate in on-campus events promoting health and wellness. Complete on-line departmental training as needed.
Theatre Shop Assistant Overland Park Main Campus

This position oversees hiring, training, and supervising a select group of tutors and is responsible for creating, scheduling, and providing academic workshops to a variety of student groups. The coordinator also manages the Academic Integrity remediation process and supports the work of the Cav Comeback Program. In the absence of the Director, this position helps guide center operations and supports broader academic success initiatives.

Supported Education Programs Instructors teach non-credit specialized instruction seminars for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the CLEAR and CONNECT programs. Tutor students through a variety of modalities and methods in specific subjects; refer students to other relevant resources. Assist with center-specific projects and training as appropriate; assist with other daily activities in the relevant center.
Adjunct Faculty, Dental Hygiene Overland Park Main Campus
This position is for a part-time adjunct clinical dental hygiene instructor. The adjunct clinical faculty will be assigned to instruct students in Clinical Dental Hygiene while they provide dental hygiene treatment in the clinic. The position may also include Friday labs (radiology, local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide sedation labs). The clinical position need varies Monday -Thursdays from 7:45 am to 5:30 pm. The contract pay is for a nine (9) hour day that includes 8.5 hours of clinical teaching time and a 30 minute lunch time calibration. Contract pay for Friday labs will be based on the number of hours worked. This position could also potentially serve as a substitute when other part-time or full-time faculty are unable to work and/or there is an emergency need to fill.
Staff Dentist, Dental Hygiene Overland Park Main Campus
The Staff Dentist is a integral member of the Dental Hygiene Program who works in collaboration with the supervising dental hygiene faculty in treating patients scheduled for care in the JCCC dental hygiene on-site clinical facility. This current position is for Mondays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm that will begin in the fall 2026 semester. The Staff Dentist will supervise, mentor and assist students in evaluations for health records, restorative charting, caries risk, occlusion and radiographic surveys. Specifically, the dentist’s role includes: *Performing an initial and periodic examination on patients presenting for periodontal maintenance *Providing a dental diagnosis for each patient *Making referrals for care beyond dental hygiene needs *Consulting on complex medical histories *Preparing prescriptions as needed *Reviewing radiographs with students and discussing the patient’s caries risk assessment and dental needs *Grading radiographs as indicated *Utilization of an Electronic Record and Digital Imaging Systems *Learning and following all JCCC clinical policies and procedures and the operation of the Dental Management System
Morning Lead Custodian Overland Park Main Campus
The Lead Custodian supports JCCC by serving as a vital link between management and the custodial staff, balancing hands-on maintenance with frontline supervision. This role is responsible for coordinating daily assignments, leading special project teams, and ensuring that all facilities meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. Beyond performing routine cleaning and specialized floor care, the Team Lead provides essential training and support to staff, monitors inventory levels and assists in the execution of facility events and furniture reconfigurations.
