Adjunct Professor, Medical Information Revenue Management Overland Park Main Campus
Teach courses in Medical Information and Revenue Management (MIRM), including medical coding (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10) and reimbursement methodologies. Integration of industry experience provides the most relevant learning experience and is expected for each course. Courses vary in delivery times, please inquire. Faculty will be required to participate in department professional development activities, prepare and manage coursework, and meet deadlines for grading and attendance.
Student Media Center Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Media Staff members support JCCC mission by being responsible for the multi-platform storytelling and promotion of The Messenger, the college’s official student news website. This role offers a professional-grade laboratory environment where student incumbents apply skills in journalism, digital media production, and marketing to engage a diverse campus audience. Working within a collaborative newsroom structure, the incumbent will specialize in a specific medium—such as social media management, investigative reporting, photography, or digital design—while gaining cross-functional experience in professional media tools and AP style standards. When applying, in the cover, letter please express interest in one or more of the following positions: Social media production editor: The social media production editor is responsible for content creation, branding content, news content and social media management on all social media platforms, excluding Youtube. Social media news reporter: Relay campus news on social media through vertical video and text. Copy editor: Oversees all proofreading and AP style adherence of all written content, which includes articles, videos and previews for podcasts and videos. Senior photographer: Captures still and video images of news and sports on campus, while working with reporters and editors to supply images for digital stories and the print. Senior designer and illustrator: Creates illustrations, including infographics, and other visual explainers, as well as designs print products, including fliers and the semi-annual magazine. Video/audio editor: Uses non-linear editing software to edit raw videos, podcasts (both video and audio-only) into cohesive, timely and accessible content. News reporter (3): Covers campus news, life and sports through features, previews, and other creative topics to engage our diverse campus. PR/Marketing: The PR/Marketing hire will work to get the word out about The Messenger by planning events, tabling, building partnerships and collaborations with other campus organizations, and this hire will have a say in social media content. Podcast producer: Creates content concepts for multiple weekly podcasting shows by working with Messengers editors and reporters. Also needs to be active on campus to meet with people to bring on the show.
Morning English Connection Instructor West Park (WPK)
Provide English instruction to students who are transitioning from basic life-skill English classes into GED-level academic coursework, college transition or higher career placement. Instruction will be in reading, grammar, writing, vocabulary development, civics, and digital literacy at an intermediate to low-advanced level. Development of daily lesson plans to keep student attention, adhere to state and local academic standards and increase student success. Facilitate standardized testing for benchmarking. Engage community volunteers to assist with one-on-one instruction with learners. Create reports and maintain records. Participate in professional development events.
Bookstore Warehouse Associate Overland Park Main Campus
Receive, price and stock merchandise. Perform operational duties at buyback and rental check-in at end of semesters. Take part in cyclical and fiscal physical inventory. Assists receiving specialists in accepting, checking in, and breaking down shipments as they come in. Assists Online Order Specialist with picking, processing, and completing online orders.

CLEAR Saturday Coordinator Overland Park Main Campus
The CLEAR Saturday Supervisor supports JCCC’s mission by facilitating lifelong continuing education opportunities for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for the front-line operational success of the CLEAR program, ensuring a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment during the Fall and Spring semesters. The incumbent manages real-time logistics, including classroom readiness, staff and aide assignments, and the "day-of" coordination of special events and performances. Serving as a primary point of contact for student safety and behavioral support, this role independently addresses facility and emergency concerns, coordinates with Campus Police when necessary, and maintains effective communication with students, families, and staff to ensure seamless program delivery.
Manager, Vocational Education Overland Park Main Campus
The Vocational Education Manager supports JCCC’s mission by developing and teaching career-related courses, coordinating and supervising on-campus internships, and providing individualized job coaching for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) enrolled in the CLEAR and CONNECT programs. Under direct supervision of Course Materials Supervisor coordinate the timely submission of adoption forms, perform specialized purchasing of applicable course materials and ancillary items for specifically assigned areas. Maintain existing inventory in assigned areas, using system reports to aid in purchasing and cyclical inventory preparation.
Testing Center Assistant Substitute Overland Park Main Campus
The Regnier Testing Center Assistant Substitute serves as a proctor for the Regnier Testing Center operated by Workforce Development and Continuing Education. This position will administer proctored exams and is responsible for coordinating client testing appointments, completing check-in and check-out processes, maintaining confidentiality, and following all vendor protocols. This position is a substitute position, filling in as needed when regularly scheduled staff are unavailable.

Adjunct Faculty, Pickleball Overland Park Main Campus
The Health and Wellness Department is seeking adjunct faculty to teach credit pickleball activity courses within the department curriculum. These courses are taught every semester and may vary with regard to time and days each semester. The successful applicant for this job will teach the equivalent of 1-9 credit hours per semester in the HPER department. This person will perform other duties expected of adjunct faculty, including collaborating and working successfully with other full-time and adjunct faculty in the HPER department and other duties as assigned.
