Accounting Specialist I Overland Park Main Campus
The Accounting Specialist I supports Student Account Services by accurately recording and reconciling student and departmental payments, balancing the cash drawer daily, and processing returned payments, refunds, and account adjustments in accordance with departmental policies and Title IV regulations. The position maintains awareness of regulations such as FERPA, PCI, and GLB, assists with reports and procedure updates, and provides courteous customer service to students, parents, and staff by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and covering the phone queue and email. This position reports to Assistant Bursar.

ELL Instructor West Park Kansas
JCCC is searching for non-credit instructors to teach English to non-native speakers by emphasizing reading, vocabulary development, listening, speaking, writing and grammar in a student-centered classroom environment at JCAE locations. Please note that these positions are not located on the main JCCC campus. They are located at our West Park and Center of Grace locations. These positions are for an ELL instructor, not adjunct positions. * Create and submit weekly lesson plans, utilizing the digital template provided, to the building lead. * Learn and implement the required curriculum that emphasizes life skills, workplace skills, digital literacy, civics/citizenship and more. . * Access and utilize the JCAE ELL website and other online resources to teach in a classroom setting. * Maintain student data, attendance records and other online resources to teach in a classroom setting. * Conference with learners at the beginning and end of the semester to discuss goals and growth. * Participate in new student intake onboarding such as registration, orientation, and testing. * Participate in staff development activities both online and in-person each semester. * Completing all JCCC annual mandatory training and administrative requirements, as well as additional onboarding requirements for JCAE new teachers. These requirements may involve account setup, website access, lesson plan training, LMS training, data entry, and other tasks to prepare for the class. * Access email regularly and read Weekly Updates to stay informed of expectations and upcoming events. * Work with the building lead to schedule a formal observation. This will be followed by a debrief, and a follow up observation to confirm that recommendations have been implemented. * Fill-in periodically for other teachers. Daytime shift Tuesday/Thursday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

Administrative Assistant WDCE Transportation Programs Overland Park Main Campus
The Administrative Assistant for WDCE Transportation Programs performs a variety of administrative support duties for Continuing Education (CE) for Johnson County Community College (JCCC) to ensure office operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role works specifically with non-credit driver safety programs including driver’s education and motorcycle training serving more than 2,000 students annually. The person in this role will work closely with the Kansas Department of Revenue to meet program requirements and maintain compliance. Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining files, compiling reports, and managing, storing, and disseminating information, processing instructor pay, and ensuring information security and compliance. This role communicates with all levels of staff, students, clients, external vendors, and leadership.

Digital Accessibility Librarian Overland Park Main Campus
The Digital Accessibility Librarian role supports Billington Library through the evaluation of library resources in compliance with ADA Title II and WCAG standards. The librarian works collaboratively with colleagues across the library and the college in the evaluation of resources. The librarian will analyze VPATs (Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates) for library resources and determine readiness for meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The librarian will perform accessibility assessments of diverse digital materials, including e-books, databases, streaming media, and website content, using established checklists and guidelines. The librarian will identify and document common WCAG and ADA Title II non-compliance issues such as missing alternative text, insufficient color contrast, incorrect reading order, and improper heading structures. This position reports to the Collection Development Librarian.

Adjunct Assistant Nursing Professor, Simulation Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking two (2) adjunct nursing faculty to teach in the Zamierowski Center for Healthcare Simulation (ZCHS). The ZCHS adjunct nursing faculty is a clinically experienced subject matter expert who is responsible for facilitating student learning and performance in the on-site simulation center. The ZCHS provides an immersive simulation learning experience for Associate Degree Nursing (ADN-Registered Nurse) students. The adjunct nursing faculty will be responsible for working with faculty, students, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure that the highest quality simulation learning activities are efficiently integrated and implemented across the nursing curriculum. These positions involves the use of interactive and simulated technology, with evidence-based simulation models, to implement and evaluate simulation scenarios as an educational modality. Adjunct nursing faculty will provide clinical, educational, and technical expertise in simulation-based activities in the ZCHS. Faculty will work as part of the ZCHS team to provide current best practice for patient scenarios during a simulation clinical day which compliments the pre-licensure nursing curriculum. Faculty will be actively involved with scenario implementation, facilitation, and debriefing for learners. Student learning activities will include resolving simple-to-complex patient care situations via high-fidelity simulation. Adjunct nursing faculty are responsible for setting up and tearing down simulation scenario environments, and preconference activities. Other team duties may also be assigned. Although simulation days would begin in the spring 2027 semester (late January/early February), current ZCHS team members would prefer to offer some training sessions late this fall for the new adjunct faculty.
Clinical Instructor, Registered Nursing Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking part-time clinical instructors to teach in the area of Med/Surg, in the acute care hospital setting, starting in the spring 2027 term. The clinical instructor will work with a group of our ADN students at a clinical agency setting one (1) day a week, and will remain on the same day each week. Hospital clinical assignments take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday. Groups could be 1st semester, 2nd semester, or 4th (final) semester students in the spring. Each individual may be asked to be available for on campus activities as needed, which may fall on a day other than their assigned clinical day.
