This role places significant emphasis on business services and related commodities, including banking, financial services, insurance, employee benefits, legal services, space rental and vehicle lease agreements, and other professional services. The incumbent evaluates market conditions, collaborates with departments to define business needs, and manages sourcing activities through a variety of competitive solicitation methods. Responsibilities include reviewing, establishing, negotiating, and administering contracts on behalf of JCCC’s Procurement Department.

The JCCC Dental Hygiene program is seeking a full-time assistant professor to teach in both the didactic and clinical components of the program. Duties include 2 days per week in the clinical setting and didactic courses as assigned. This position is a 9-month contract within the bargaining unit of the College to begin August 2026.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate effective instructional teaching strategies, evaluate student learning and communicate with students. The faculty member will be responsible for preparing and teaching dental hygiene program material. Mentoring students in mastering course content, fostering critical thinking, creating a supportive learning environment, as well as evaluating student learning through course competencies are essential skills for this position. Providing timely formative and summative feedback and communicating regularly with students is required. The successful candidate will also complete all mandatory training, attend, and participate in required meetings, develop collegial collaboration with other faculty members and serve on department, division and/or other College committees. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday.

This full-time faculty position begins in August 2026 in the Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) department. CSIS encompasses computer science, information systems, data science/data analytics, and is currently developing applied artificial intelligence courses. Current CSIS needs include developing and teaching courses in data science/data analytics and applied artificial intelligence.
Full-time CSIS faculty are required to teach an average of 15 credit hours per semester. Teaching assignments may be any combination of face-to-face, hybrid, online, day or evening, and are subject to change as needed. Regular on-campus presence is required. The selected candidate is expected to demonstrate mastery of subject matter, teaching, and evaluation of student learning. Faculty participate in professional development and college/division/program activities, support college policies and procedures, and contribute to the growth and enhancement of college mission and programs. This position demands collaboration across the department and the ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and maintain relationships with industry and academic partners.

JCCC offers commercial truck driver training courses to prepare new drivers for their commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A. In this role, we instruct people how to properly conduct pre-trip inspections and safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. This is a part-time position. Number of workdays per month are flexible. Hours are based on course schedules and could include weekdays, evenings, and weekends as available.
