Starting Salary Range: $86,986 - $114,901 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: The Director of Recruitment & Enrollment Strategy is responsible for the strategic leadership of the Welcome Center, Recruitment, Success Coaching, and CRM team for Johnson County Community College (JCCC), developing a sound, multi-year Strategic Enrollment Management Plan that establishes realistic yet ambitious enrollment targets, and leadership of the CRM system used to recruit and retain students.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and supervisory experience.

Position details include but are not limited to:
- Enrollment Strategy & Planning:
- Use quantitative analysis, tactical decision-making, and continuous improvement methods to lead the implementation and execution of modern and measurable recruitment and enrollment growth strategies.
- Provide institutional strategic level leadership and accountability for enrollment planning, student recruitment, student communication systems, and support for academic pathways development.
- Develop and execute enrollment management strategies that focus on equitable access, retention, and program completion outcomes. Lead strategic initiatives to remove barriers for students, create cohesive enrollment pathways for special populations, and personalize the admissions process.
- Develop and oversee the annual Recruitment Plan and serve as a critical member of the JCCC Strategic Enrollment Team.
- Compliance & Program Review:
- Monitor and uphold compliance with all federal, state, and institutional policies/procedures pertaining to admission, veteran and military student benefits, and international student regulations.
- Conduct Administrative Program Review annually to engage in continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making and oversee the planning and implementation of projects within the Recruitment and Enrollment Strategy teams to support the College's strategic priorities.
- Data, Reporting & Technology:
- Create reports and dashboards to provide key metrics needed to support data-driven decisions in Enrollment Services.
- Gather actionable market intelligence by researching prospective students in target markets.
- Research, develop, and present strategic insights to further the College's enrollment growth efforts through new market penetration strategies.
- Determine technology needs for Recruitment and Enrollment Strategy teams and submit requests to Information Technology Planning (ITP) for the department.
- Direct the department's continuous utilization, development, and maintenance of systems and software.
- Develop innovative technology to personalize the recruitment process, track student communications, and prompt applicants on the next steps.
- Community & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop and maintain critical relationships with community partners, local school districts, industries, and the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) to promote JCCC.
- Support and promote key institutional, local, and state initiatives, including Guided Pathways, KC Scholars, and the Kansas Promise Program.
- Represent JCCC at local/regional civic and economic development organizations to cultivate key business relationships.
- Oversee the development and execution of the student communication plan and collaborate with the College's Strategic Communication and Marketing Office to develop marketing strategies for students.
- Budget & Resource Management:
- Develop and administer the budget to ensure fiscal needs are responsibly met and staffing needs are fulfilled.
