Starting Salary Range:  $20.47-$26.35 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: Perform various administrative support duties for the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Foundation to ensure office operations run smoothly and efficiently. Create and maintain files, compile reports, and manage, store, and disseminate information, ensuring information security and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • May assist less-experienced team members.
  • Requires a High School Diploma and 3+ years of related experience.

Position details include but are not limited to:

  • Secure and process accounts receivable checks or cash, complete deposits daily as needed, and provide necessary information to the Coordinator - Gift Processing. 
  • Accurately enter new constituent information into Raisers Edge software when gifts arrive. 
  • Assist with reserving meeting rooms, catering, and audio/visual equipment, and process supply orders as directed. 
  • Lead the execution of JC3 Innovation (the business is a division of the JCCC Foundation) through inventory control, order processing and tracking, accounts payable and receivable, and vendor relationships. 
  • Ensure all office equipment and technology is operating effectively and coordinate support from Information Technology or outside vendors when necessary.
  • Prepare Foundation-related requests for payment (catering, Foundation sponsorships, memberships/subscriptions, etc.). 
  • Oversee the scholarship donor thank you letter process, ensuring letters are received from Financial Aid, scanned, and properly disseminated to donors in a timely manner. 
  • Answer incoming Foundation phone calls and monitor the Foundation Department email and calendar. 
  • Greet all guests as they enter and appropriately provide information/direction as needed. Route all incoming calls or guests to the appropriate contact or department. 
  • Ensure the Foundation front office is organized and welcoming.
  • Execute a variety of mailing projects, including donor acknowledgment letters, by creating letters and labels and folding/stuffing/merging documents.
