Starting Salary Range: $48,364.00 - $62,577.00 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: Provide strategic and hands-on leadership to the student recruitment team within the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Admissions Department. Oversee recruitment initiatives and guide the onboarding of prospective students, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from initial contact through the early stages of the student lifecycle. Lead efforts to attract, inform, and enroll a diverse student population through data-informed strategies and dynamic team management.
Required Qualifications: Serves as first level leader, overseeing and guiding the team’s daily operations. The incumbent will both supervise and actively contribute to the team’s work as needed. Collaborates in management decision making and supports organizational initiatives. Maintains strong understanding of how the team’s role fits within the broader organization.
Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Hire, onboard, train, and supervise professional recruitment team members to ensure high performance and alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with the Program Director of Admissions to design, implement, and assess a data-driven recruitment plan that attracts, enrolls, and retains a diverse student population aligned with institutional priorities.
- Direct key recruitment initiatives to include outreach, territory management, travel planning and approvals, communication strategy, and overall recruitment processes.
- Drive results to meet college-wide enrollment targets, including application-to-enrollment conversion, re-engagement of former students, and concurrent enrollment success.
- Oversee a defined recruitment region, including prospect cultivation, outreach activities, and relationship management with key stakeholders.
- Represent JCCC through one-on-one appointments, college fairs, high school visits, campus tours, and large-scale recruitment events, promoting programs tailored to individual student needs.
- Ensure effective referrals and collaboration with departments such as Counseling, Financial Aid, Early College, and International & Immigrant Student Services to support prospective students throughout the admissions process.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of JCCC programs and services to accurately advise and guide prospective students.
- Use CRM platforms and targeted campaigns to maintain consistent, personalized communication with prospective students and nurture their engagement with the college.
- Coordinate recruitment events by scheduling, developing agendas, creating marketing collateral, and managing outreach for specific student populations.
- Ensure recruitment materials are up to date and accessible for distribution to high schools, community agencies, and other partners.
- Cultivate and maintain strong internal and external partnerships to support enrollment efforts and remove barriers to college access.
- Act as the college’s primary representative to high schools, community organizations, and agencies. Deliver presentations tailored to various audiences to promote JCCC programs and admissions pathways.
- Foster an inclusive and welcoming recruitment environment. Support students from diverse backgrounds in navigating the college transition and building a sense of belonging.
- Analyze recruitment trends and needs, identify process improvements, and recommend strategies to enhance admissions and enrollment outcomes.
