Work Schedule, Hours per week: 8:00 am to 1:30 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays while the salon is in session, with additional hours as needed, 11 hours per week

Starting Salary Range: $15.34-$18.61 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: Perform receptionist duties and office support tasks for the nail technology program while displaying excellent customer service. Assist with organizing and record keeping of supply inventory. Serve as backup to the Regnier Testing Center.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically requires at least 1 year of related experience.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Act as the first point of contact for students, staff, and clients entering the building, providing a welcoming and warm environment.
- Greet, check in, and check out clients for salon and retail services in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take payments from clients for services provided and issue receipts, following established payment policies and procedures.
- Schedule client services, assist with changes and cancellations, and confirm appointments with clients.
- Serve as customer service liaison to salon clients, answering questions about service offerings, prices, and availability. Address any concerns or complaints in a calm and professional manner, escalating issues as needed.
- Assist in training students as receptionists for the industry. Provide instruction in scheduling clients and telephone etiquette. Support faculty by providing students with accurate and necessary information to complete tasks.
- Provide general office support, assisting with clerical duties, data entry, and related tasks.
- Answer incoming calls and take messages, directing callers to the appropriate parties as necessary. Respond to email inquiries.
- Accept deliveries and maintain a neat and orderly reception desk.
- Assist classroom instructor with dispensing salon products.
- Monitor supply inventory and notify appropriate personnel when ordering is needed.
- Substitute at the Regnier Testing Center when additional coverage is needed.
*Other duties as assigned.
