Pay Range:  $16.31-$20.77 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: Recruit and enroll prospective students in assigned recruitment territory and serve as a primary source of Johnson County Community College (JCCC) knowledge for students, educational partners, and community stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires an Associate's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in discipline.
  • Conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Actively sell and promote JCCC based on the individual characteristics of prospective students through engagement in appointments, college fairs, high school visits, individual campus visits, and large-scale recruitment events. 
  • Maintain and manage a travel schedule and budget and submit weekly reports. 
  • Ensure cross-campus connections and referrals to departments such as counseling, immigration services, and financial aid are established to facilitate a positive experience for prospective students navigating the admissions process. 
  • Maintain proper knowledge of the services and programs offered at JCCC in order to properly counsel and advise potential students seeking admission. 
  • Maintain a steady flow of communication using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software tools or specific recruitment event campaigns to contribute to the establishment of a relationship between the prospect and JCCC.
  • Use data provided by the CRM system, Communication Specialist, and/or the Director of Recruitment & Enrollment Strategy to strategically align with the department and college recruitment goals. 
  • Develop recruitment events (date, agenda, marketing materials, prospect communication) for assigned student subset population.
  • Develop recruitment events by selecting date, agenda, marketing materials, and prospect communications for assigned student population.
  • Establish relationships and maintain communication with high school counselors, college-prep organizations, and community organizations.
  • Develop and nurture internal cross-campus program relationships and collaboration. 
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials that align with strategic enrollment and marketing communication plans.
