Pay Range: $16.31-$20.77 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: This person will support the faculty, students and staff in the Graphic Design and Visual Design Applications programs by helping ensure a safe, efficient, organized laboratory and classroom environment. Assistance to faculty/staff in support of student program activities. Directly assist entry-level students with software/hardware questions and troubleshooting issues with lab computer programs, printers and scanners.
Required Qualifications:
- Applicant must be a current JCCC Degree-seeking student or recent graduate.
- Must have experience working in a professional environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint), Adobe Creative Suite (lnDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), and basic computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate and share technical expertise for students using computers, printers, scanners.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist faculty in the preparation of materials for classroom laboratories; creating program/classroom communications/materials, signage, flyers, presentations
- Maintain working knowledge of related tools, equipment, or technologies within spaces assigned
- Assist with inventory of supplies and equipment and report any damage or defects
- Return classrooms to clean/ready state following classes and ensure they are clean and organized
- Check departmental equipment/library materials in and out to students; ensure they are following the rules of proper equipment usage
- Maintain departmental compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and JCCC policies. Every employee of the college is expected to treat all members of the college community with dignity and respect demonstrating professional, courteous and respectful behavior and engage in constructive conflict resolution, when needed
- Assist students in the classroom, providing time for them to enhance their learning in a formal setting
