Work Schedule, Hours per week: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week

Pay Range:  $47,300.00-$61,200.00 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: Manages the day-to-day operations of Workforce Development and Continuing Education course fulfillment. This includes the supervision of program support staff. Oversees the fulfillment of open enrollment courses, including assisting WDCE instructors and students. Work with instructors and students to address classroom issues. Process applications for special admissions programs. Supervises the Regnier Testing Center. First-level manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience.
  • Broad knowledge of the field with demonstrated leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Workforce Development and Continuing Education programs.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Hire, onboard, and supervise support staff.
  • Provide support and direction to WDCE instructors.
  • Process applications and communicate with students in select WDCE programs. 
  • Support programs so that open enrollment courses offer appropriate curriculum, reporting requirements, classroom/lab locations, needed materials, etc.
  • Maintain working knowledge of registration systems and other systems used by WDCE. Troubleshoot issues and communicate challenges to the appropriate area. Conduct frequent audit testing on current and new systems.
  • Partner with Program Coordinators and Operations Staff to address classroom issues, analyze student and instructor evaluations, and assist students with course and career counseling as needed. 
  • Create, prepare, and analyze data for reporting requested by the President, Cabinet, Board of Trustees, WDCE leadership, and any other JCCC entity requesting information. This includes formulating data reports for program reviews, grants, audits, funding, and other special projects.
  • Create and maintain current course offerings, schedule all courses in appropriate classrooms, and confirm that they have proper software and equipment. 
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and streamlining procedures/policies, including database administration and relationships with educational partners/vendors.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with third-party vendors, instructors, students, and JCCC staff.
