Assistant Professor, Architecture Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking a full-time faculty member in our Architecture Department. The Architecture program at JCCC is in its twenty-ninth year of providing services to its students and the community. It is unique in its ability to provide a full, one-year transfer curriculum in Architecture into the second-year of major university Schools of Architecture. The faculty in the department teach courses in; Introduction to Architecture, Design Studios in Architecture, Architectural History, and Special Topic courses in Architecture. These courses are the foundation for students preparing for careers in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Landscape Design, and Urban Planning and Design. We seek candidates who are well positioned to shape the future of architectural studies within the greater context of the arts and humanities. This position demands a positive person, with teaching, leadership, and management skills. Candidate must also promote, support, and help coordinate all aspects of the architecture program with our students and university partners. Teaching will be on campus, primarily face-to-face contact in a physical classroom, with potential of online instruction. Candidate must be available for in-person teaching, Monday through Friday. Teaching load is based on an average of fifteen credit hours per semester, with an average of five classes per semester. The individual selected for this position should understand the community college environment and foster the success in supporting students at all levels of ability and who are from diverse backgrounds. The faculty member is expected to demonstrate competence in mastery of subject matter, professional development, teaching performance, evaluation of student learning, participation in college/division/program activities, support college policies and procedures, and contribution to the growth and enhancement of the college mission and programs.
Administrative Assistant, Practical Nursing Olathe Health Education Center (OHEC)
Orchestrate and optimize processes and activities for the selective admissions healthcare program. Maintain programmatic accreditation as well as ensure the program's functionality by seamlessly coordinating various elements and contributing significantly to its overall success.

Student Support Technician Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Support Technician serves as the first point-of-contact for JCCC student support. This position is responsible for initial triage and assistance in determining the resolution of student issues, escalation of issues to higher level technical support professionals when necessary, and reporting of trends when requests appear to be out of the ordinary. The Student Support Technician will also be directly involved in the JCCC knowledge management process.
Warehouse Associate Overland Park Main Campus
This position is responsible for delivering outgoing packages, freight, and purchase orders. Also responsible for the collection, and delivery of surplus items, assisting with archive organization. Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the department.

Lab Instructor Fire Science Overland Park Main Campus
Faculty members are expected to demonstrate and maintain competence in each of the following areas throughout their employment at the college. Lab Instructors teach requisite firefighting skills to prepare students for third party state firefighter certification pertaining to four core curriculums (Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, Fire I, Fire II). Lab Instructors work with, teach, and maintain fire equipment (chain saws, ladders, breathing apparatus, personal protective gear, extrication equipment) to ensure students receive quality and emergency services operations and delivery. Ability to interpret and evaluate theories in the field or discipline and connect subject matter with related fields. Plan and organize instruction in ways which maximize student learning. Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies. Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs. Create and/or modify course revisions appropriate to current Fire and Emergency Services principles and delivery methods. Employ available instructional technology when appropriate. Assistant Professor, Mathematics (9-month) Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is a comprehensive educational institution that values outstanding instruction. A 9-month faculty member in the mathematics department at JCCC is expected to perform the tasks as outlined in the 9-Month faculty position description. All math department faculty must be able to prepare for and teach mathematics courses, hold office hours, and perform other duties expected of full-time faculty employed at JCCC. These duties may include developing and revising curriculum, developing and implementing assessment of student learning outcomes, developing and maintaining relationships with academic partners, participating in college and department meetings, serving on committees, and other duties as assigned.
Director, SBDC Overland Park Main Campus
Lead and provide strategic direction to two federally funded economic development programs that increase economic prosperity in Kansas by providing free consultation services and affordable training to aspiring and existing small business owners and owners of businesses that contract with the federal government. The Director is responsible for promoting JCCC through community outreach and ensuring that staff achieves economic impact goals and key stakeholders maintain support for the program.
