Position Summary: The CLEAR program instructor will teach postsecondary academic, enrichment classes and/or social skills to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a college environment during the CLEAR Saturday program. The instructor is responsible for developing curriculum and providing classroom instruction. This position will be responsible for teaching a Hobby Exploration and a Walking for Health class for the spring semester on Saturday mornings.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field; six months experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; organizational skills required; ability to work with a varying degree of developmental disability with minimal supervision required. Mandatory training must be completed yearly, as required by JCCC. Ability to use basic computer applications and technology, email, web and internet resources required.
