Studio Arts Technician II Overland Park Main Campus
This position will support the Department of Fine Art, Photo & Film by multi-tasking many responsibilities, including but not limited to, taking a significant role in the smooth operation of the Sculpture & Metals facilities in the Fine Arts & Design Studios at JCCC. Duties include supervising open lab hours, managing inventory, equipment maintenance, maintaining labs and studios, assisting students, staff & faculty, and assisting with installing and deinstalling exhibitions. • BFA in Sculpture or Metals
Administrative Assistant, Student Services & Success Overland Park Main Campus

Manager, Visitor Services Overland Park Main Campus
The Visitor Services Manager works with the Nerman Museum staff as an integral member of the team. This position oversees visitor services staff and initiatives by managing front of house experience, and supervising the Museum’s visitor-facing staff, which includes approximately 10 guard staff, and 20+ front of house volunteers (including JCCC students), as well as additional volunteers for events. Trains guards and front of house volunteers as well as updates policies that address safety needs/concerns related to protecting the artwork on view according to museum best practices. The Visitor Services Manager establishes excellence in customer service to all patrons to ensure an enjoyable daily experience for staff, volunteers, and visitors and is also front-line in ensuring that our events day-of experience runs smoothly. This position’s schedule includes occasional evening and weekend shifts.
MTC Graphic Design Intern Overland Park Main Campus
Graphic Design Intern is a JCCC student who will work with the MTC Marketing Coordinator on engaging solutions for communications and marketing channels, including social assets, emails, print and digital ads, publications, event materials, internal presentations, etc. that align with the brand messaging, and strategic objectives for the MTC Performing Arts. Goal: to give the student experience working in a professional setting in a performing arts center.

Technical Support Technician Overland Park Main Campus
Serve as first contact for Johnson County Community College (JCCC) faculty, staff, and students seeking technical support, providing initial triage, and aiding in resolving software and hardware issues, including ticket escalation to higher-level support teams when necessary. Assist with processing requests for multimedia, labs, and classroom support, including radio and chat dispatch directions. Facilitate Technology Support Center (TSC) equipment checkout and returns for JCCC employees.
General Buyer, Bookstore Overland Park Main Campus
Under direct supervision of Course Materials Supervisor coordinate the timely submission of adoption forms, perform specialized purchasing of applicable course materials and ancillary items for specifically assigned areas. Maintain existing inventory in assigned areas, using system reports to aid in purchasing and cyclical inventory preparation.
Tutor II - Writing Center Overland Park Main Campus
Assist writers from all disciplines and of varying abilities with brainstorming, outlining, writing, editing, grammar, and any other aspect of the writing process. This could take place via drop-in, one-time appointments, semester-long appointments, and/or workshops. Attendance at training sessions or other scheduled meetings. Other tasks might include filling in at the front desk, updating resources, referring students to appropriate resources, assisting students, faculty, and staff in the WCTR, mentoring new Tutors, performing special tasks for the ARC, and other duties as assigned.

The Adjunct Assistant Professor, Practical Nursing will Teach a maximum of 200 contact hours/semester of lab, clinical and/or simulation instruction for practical nursing students which may include Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal-Child Nursing, and/or Long-Term Care Nursing. The person in this position may teach day and/or evening students to meet program needs. The ideal candidate is one who has demonstrated strong nursing clinical and assessment skills; is comfortable with technology; works well in collaboration with others; is committed to the mission of a community college; is familiar with the scope of practice of an LPN.

CLEAR Instructor Overland Park Main Campus
The CLEAR program instructor will teach postsecondary academic, enrichment classes and/or social skills to adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities in a college environment during the CLEAR Expansion program (Tuesdays and Thursdays). This includes enforcement of criminal statutes with full arrest authority, parking and traffic enforcement, crime prevention, patrol activity, accident investigation, resolution of domestic and other disturbances, prosecution support, non-criminal public safety services, and enforcement of college policies, rules, and regulations.
Sr Enterprise Desktop Engineer Overland Park Main Campus
Provide technical support for enterprise desktops, laptops, and supporting hardware. Responsible for ongoing maintenance and management of the desktop environment. Assist in maintaining business applications, and ensure the reliability and sustainability of information resources. Supervise and assign staff to resolve operational issues.
