The lab aide will have the following duties: Assist in chemical prep for labs Assist in setup and dismantling of labs, along with the collection and orderly storage of chemicals and labware Assist in setting up equipment and small instruments Replenish consumables (such as paper towels, weigh boats, soap, gloves, etc) for labs on a daily basis Assist in inventory of chemicals and equipment Perform any additional duties as requested by the lab coordinator
Studio Arts Technician I Overland Park Main Campus
This position will support the Department of Fine Art, Photo & Film by multitasking many responsibilities in the Photography and Filmmaking studios, including but not limited to, taking a significant role in the smooth operation of the facilities and equipment. Adjunct Railroad Welding Trainer Overland Park Main Campus
The National Academy of Railroad Sciences (NARS) is seeking an experienced welding trainer. The NARS welding trainer will teach welding classes (Thermite, Frog, Rail and Switch point, Basic Welding, Elements of Welding, Mechanical, Structural and other welding classes) to BNSF employees and general college student populations. The trainer will participate in railroad update training. Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Student Support Technician Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Support Technician serves as the first point-of-contact for JCCC student support. This position is responsible for initial triage and assistance in determining the resolution of student issues, escalation of issues to higher level technical support professionals when necessary, and reporting of trends when requests appear to be out of the ordinary. The Student Support Technician will also be directly involved in the JCCC knowledge management process.

CDL A Instructor – Truck Driver Trainer Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking experienced CDL Truck Drivers to conduct CDL training classes. JCCC offers commercial truck driver training courses to prepare new drivers for their commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A. In this role, we instruct people how to properly conduct pre-trip inspections and safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. This is a part-time position. Number of workdays per month are flexible. Hours are based on course schedules and could include weekdays, evenings, and weekends as available.
