Pay Range: $19.97 - $24.96 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: The CLEAR Coordinator is responsible for facilitation of the CLEAR supported education programs. Responsibilities include classroom and student management and instruction for both Saturday and Weekday programming.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social service field, rehabilitation, education or related field required. Six months experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities required. Must be able to operate basic computer and office equipment. Ability to work with students with varying degrees of disabilities required. Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus good decision making, detail orientation and organizational skills required. Must work independently.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of JCCC campus.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Facilitate the CLEAR Saturday program- While CLEAR classes are in session, ensure that classrooms are set-up and ready for use and are cleaned and locked at the end of the day. Supplies are secured for instructors as requested. Address any facilities issues that arise. Adjust aide assignments to cover absences as necessary. Secure substitutes for instructors if unplanned absences occur. Take attendance in each class to ensure student wayfinding. Address student behavioral issues and/or concerns immediately and document appropriately for the SEP Manager. Address all emergency protocols in the event of a health or safety emergency. Ensure students safely leave campus with their designated ride.
- Facilitate the CLEAR Weekday program– While CLEAR classes are in session, ensure that classrooms are set-up and ready for use. Supplies are secured for instructors as requested. Address any facilities issues that arise. Adjust aide assignments to cover absences as necessary. Secure substitutes for instructors if unplanned absences occur. Address student behavioral issues and/or concerns immediately and document appropriately for the SEP Manager. Address all emergency protocols in the event of a health or safety emergency. Provide social skills instruction and evaluation each semester.
- Facilitate the CLEAR summer program– Plan and oversee the CLEAR Life Lab and summer events series. Ensure that spaces are set up and ready for use. Supplies are secured for each event. Instructors and/or speakers are secured, and contracts are issued. Address all emergency protocols in the event of a health or safety emergency. Ensure students safely leave campus with their designated ride.
- Supervise CLEAR Aides and Lead Aides- Participate in the hiring and training of the CLEAR Aide pool. Coordinate schedules. Address employee issues as they arise. Facilitate and approve time recordings for aides each pay period.
