Pay Grade/Pay Range: 52.52, $18.15 - $22.69 *Actual pay depends on qualifications

Position Summary: Responsible for the daily operation of the frontline as it relates to activities associated with the open lab environment, including administrative decision- making during evening and weekend lab hours, scheduling of frontline/lead personnel, assisting in frontline personnel administrative duties, processing testing data, and maintaining compliance, as well as communicating and disseminating information.

Required Qualifications: Associate degree
Administrative or supervisory or training experience
Two years related experience in a learning environment
Teaching or prior testing experience with adolescents or adults
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, and critical thinking skills
Experience with computers, including but not limited to personal computing, data entry, Microsoft Office, software applications, and web knowledge
Ability to process, problem-solve, and make sound decisions
Attention to detail and multi-task proclivity

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree
An in-depth working knowledge of computers
Experience with student management systems
Community college experience

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • OVERSIGHT OF FRONTLINE DAILY OPERATIONS – Provide supervision of the frontline day-to-day activities while fostering team cohesiveness, ensuring effective productivity, safeguarding positive student interaction, and producing sound professional decisions that result in effective issue resolution
  • ASSIST IN MANAGEMENT OF FRONTLINE PERSONNEL – Provide support to the Program Director and Supervisor in the management of frontline and lead personnel by actively assisting in their hiring and evaluation process, as well as taking the responsibility of effectively training them
  •  PROCESS TESTING DATA – Responsible for the processing of test scores and data, including data entry and reconciliation
  • COMMUNICATE INFORMATION – Responsible for the communicating and disseminating of information
  • PROCTOR ACCOMMODATED EXAMS (IN PRIVATE ROOM OR VIRTUALLY) – Responsible for proctoring exams for students with disabilities as outlined by the approved ADA testing accommodations, while maintaining a secure, accessible, and confidential testing environment
  • MAINTAIN COMPLIANCE AND REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS – Support and abide by all policies, standards, and regulations set forth by federal/state mandates, JCCC, academic departments, external academic institutions, testing companies, and Testing and Assessment Services, as well as complete all required certification processes to keep certifications current and valid
