Job Summary

Teach the equivalent of 12-15 credit hours per semester in the Accounting department. Perform other duties expected of full-time faculty including maintaining scheduled office hours; developing and implementing course and program assessment of student learning outcomes; developing and maintaining relationships with industry and academic partners; participating in college, division, and department meetings; serving on committees; recruiting students; and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Master's in Accounting, OR MBA with current CPA, CMA, CIS; OR MBA with 18 graduate credit hours in Accounting
Minimum of three years industry experience
Demonstrated teaching experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills

Preferred Qualifications

A sensitivity to, and understanding of, the diverse backgrounds of community college students
