Job Summary

This position provides administrative support to the Student Activities team by performing various duties related to ticket sales, logistical processing related to event planning, and responding to general questions and concerns of the public. The Center for Student Involvement team is responsible for club and organization management, Student Lounge operations, planning of Student Life events, and student engagement opportunities. This position provides administrative support to the Center for Student Involvement team by performing duties related to event logistic scheduling, Get Involved @ JCCC submission processing, and programming support. All of these offerings contribute to providing a welcoming and engaging campus experience for students, employees, and guests.

 

 

Required Qualifications

Associates Degree, two years of undergraduate coursework, or equivalent related experience
Minimum of one year experience in an office support position
Experience using Microsoft Office computer applications

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Banner software
Detail-oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
