ELL instructor West Park (WPK)
JCCC is searching for non-credit instructors to teach English to non-native speakers by emphasizing reading, vocabulary development, listening, speaking, writing and grammar in a student-centered classroom environment at JCAE locations. Please note that these positions are not located on the main JCCC campus. They are located at our West Park and Center of Grace locations. These positions are for an ELL instructor, not adjunct positions. * Create and submit weekly lesson plans, utilizing the digital template provided, to the building lead. * Learn and implement the required curriculum that emphasizes life skills, workplace skills, digital literacy, civics/citizenship and more. . * Access and utilize the JCAE ELL website and other online resources to teach in a classroom setting. * Maintain student data, attendance records and other online resources to teach in a classroom setting. * Conference with learners at the beginning and end of the semester to discuss goals and growth. * Participate in new student intake onboarding such as registration, orientation, and testing. * Participate in staff development activities both online and in-person each semester. * Completing all JCCC annual mandatory training and administrative requirements, as well as additional onboarding requirements for JCAE new teachers. These requirements may involve account setup, website access, lesson plan training, LMS training, data entry, and other tasks to prepare for the class. * Access email regularly and read Weekly Updates to stay informed of expectations and upcoming events. * Work with the building lead to schedule a formal observation. This will be followed by a debrief, and a follow up observation to confirm that recommendations have been implemented. * Fill-in periodically for other teachers. Daytime and Evening shifts available.
Clinical Assistant Professor - RC Olathe Health Education Center (OHEC)
Respiratory Care lab and simulation instruction on basic respiratory care knowledge and skills, neonatal/pediatric respiratory care, airway management, mechanical ventilation, and critical care patient management.
Continuing Education Instructor – ECG Technician Overland Park Main Campus
Health and Human Services (HHS) provides quality healthcare career training programs in areas such as electrocardiogram (ECG) technician, phlebotomy technician, assisted living facility operator, and nursing home administrator. Additionally, HHS provides continuing education for health care professionals that meet licensing requirements for RNs, APRNs, LPNs, social workers, counselors, registered dietitians, respiratory therapists, psychologists, massage therapists, physical and occupational therapists, and nursing home administrators. Qualified instructors are needed to deliver ECG technician training classes. Classes are conducted in a continuing education classroom environment in the morning, afternoon or evening sessions during weekdays or weekends. Instructors will provide training on all aspects of an ECG technician in a healthcare setting, including information about cardiology and the electrocardiograph, how to perform ECGs and how to read and interpret strips. Additional topics include atrial, junctional, heart block, and ventricular dysrhythmias, pacemaker rhythms, cardiac stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, and the clinical presentation and management of cardiac patients.
Police Officer Overland Park Main Campus
Provide law enforcement and public safety services to the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) community. This includes enforcement of criminal statutes with full arrest authority, parking and traffic enforcement, crime prevention, patrol activity, accident investigation, resolution of domestic and other disturbances, prosecution support, non-criminal public safety services, and enforcement of college policies, rules, and regulations.

Sustainability Intern Overland Park Main Campus

Testing Center Assistant Substitute Overland Park Main Campus
The Regnier Testing Center Assistant serves as a proctor for the Regnier Testing Center operated by Workforce Development and Continuing Education. This position will administer proctored exams and is responsible for coordinating client testing appointments, completing check-in and check-out processes, maintaining confidentiality, and following all vendor protocols. This position is a substitute position, filling in as needed when regularly scheduled staff are unavailable.
Clinical Instructor, Registered Nursing Overland Park Main Campus
