Assistant Professor Dental Hygiene in Overland Park Main Campus
The JCCC Dental Hygiene program is seeking a full-time assistant professor to teach in both the didactic and clinical components of the program. Duties include 2 days per week in the clinical setting and didactic courses as assigned. This position is a 9-month contract within the bargaining unit of the College to begin August 2026. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate effective instructional teaching strategies, evaluate student learning and communicate with students. The faculty member will be responsible for preparing and teaching dental hygiene program material. Mentoring students in mastering course content, fostering critical thinking, creating a supportive learning environment, as well as evaluating student learning through course competencies are essential skills for this position. Providing timely formative and summative feedback and communicating regularly with students is required. The successful candidate will also complete all mandatory training, attend, and participate in required meetings, develop collegial collaboration with other faculty members and serve on department, division and/or other College committees. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday.

Executive Director ITS/Chief Security Officer in Overland Park Main Campus
The Executive Director, IT Security serves as JCCC’s senior information security leader, functioning as the institution’s de facto Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Reporting to the Vice President of Information Services and Chief Information Officer (CIO), this position provides strategic direction and operational leadership for all aspects of information security, cybersecurity risk management, identity and access management (IAM), regulatory compliance, and emerging technology governance across the college. The Executive Director develops and executes a comprehensive, risk-based security program that protects college data, systems, and infrastructure while enabling JCCC’s educational mission. This role leads a team of security and IAM professionals; oversees security governance, policy, and compliance; and collaborates broadly with academic, administrative, and technical stakeholders to build a culture of security awareness and resilience throughout the college. The position also provides counsel on the secure adoption of cloud, AI, and other emerging technologies in alignment with institutional priorities.

The Student Admissions Ambassador or CAV Leader at JCCC serves as a primary receptionist by greeting all guests and visiting campus community members. The Admissions Ambassador ensures that visitors are acknowledged and that they feel welcome. The Admissions Ambassadors support the Recruitment Coordinator and recruitment team. An integral component of the job is working as part of a team of students and recruitment staff to provide quality tours and visit experiences for all college guests. The Admissions Ambassador is a highly visible student employee who will have a vast array of knowledge about the Student Services and Engagement as well as academic and support programs across campus to provide accurate information to visitors. The Admissions Ambassadors will be a part of a collaborative recruitment department that supports coworkers by utilizing available computer systems and technology to maintain accurate databases and information for reporting purposes.

Student Support Technician in Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Support Technician serves as the first point-of-contact for JCCC student support. This position is responsible for initial triage and assistance in determining the resolution of student issues, escalation of issues to higher level technical support professionals when necessary, and reporting of trends when requests appear to be out of the ordinary. The Student Support Technician will also be directly involved in the JCCC knowledge management process.
