Vice President, Chief Financial Officer Overland Park Main Campus
The Vice President/Chief Financial Officer (VP/CFO) is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to ensure the financial integrity of Johnson County Community College (JCCC). The VP/CFO is a member of the President’s Cabinet and oversees approximately 200 employees in the Financial Services and Business Services departments. The VP/CFO reports to the Executive Vice President, Finance & Administrative Services. The VP/CFO is responsible for the financial records of the College and ensures the accurate and timely preparation of all fiscal reports, including monthly internal financial statements, the annual financial statement audit report, and College budget documents. The VP/CFO is responsible for development and management of the College’s annual budget process, including preparation of long-range budget forecasts and financial plans that support the strategic goals of the College. The VP/CFO is responsible for capital financing, debt management, and investment of reserve funds in accordance with statutory requirements and College policies. The VP/CFO ensures College procurement activities are appropriately directed and authorized, and that operations of respective business/auxiliary units serve the needs of the campus community in an effective and efficient manner.
Food Court Production Overland Park Main Campus
Perform dining services duties, prepare, stock, and serve food safely and accurately according to local, state, and departmental guidelines.
Daytime ESL Instructor, Continuing Education West Park (WPK)
JCCC is searching for non-credit instructors to teach English to non-native speakers by emphasizing reading, vocabulary development, listening, speaking, writing and grammar in a student-centered classroom environment. Please note that these positions are not located on the main JCCC campus. They are located at our West Park and Center of Grace locations. These positions are not adjunct positions.
Adjunct Assistant Professor, Hospitality Management Overland Park Main Campus
Teach the equivalent of 3-6 credit hours per semester in the Hospitality Management area, with an emphasis in food and beverage management and culinary arts classes.

Accounting Specialist II, Bookstore Overland Park Main Campus
Provide accounting support for Bookstore operations, including processing daily sales receipts and deposits, submitting vendor accounts payable invoices, and processing accounts receivable in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Museum Guard Overland Park Main Campus
Responsible for public safety and the protection of artwork and collections within the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art.
Registration Specialist Overland Park Main Campus
Register all students/customers, including adding, transferring, accepting payments, and withdrawing students from Continuing Education (CE) courses for Johnson County Community College (JCCC). Advise students and assist with registration decisions and procedures.
Career Development Coach Overland Park Main Campus
Support the day-to-day operation of the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Career Development Center, create retention strategies, and make initial contact with prospective students, JCCC students, alumni, faculty, staff, and employers to advise on college major research, career exploration, job search, and career related information.
Administrative Assistant, Continuing Education Overland Park Main Campus
Perform a variety of administrative support duties for Continuing Education (CE) for Johnson County Community College (JCCC) to ensure office operations run smoothly and efficiently. Create and maintain files, compile reports, and manage, store, and disseminate information, ensuring information security and compliance. Communicate with all levels of staff, students, clients, external vendors, and leadership. Provide support for approximately 300 open enrollment cases per term.
Continuing Education Transition Coach Overland Park Main Campus
Collaborate closely with NCircle, Inc and the Johnson County Department of Corrections (DOC) to help those currently or previously incarcerated find avenues to advance in a career that provides a good income and a healthy life.
Compensation Manager Overland Park Main Campus
The Compensation Manager works closely with the Vice President and Director of the Human Resources Department. This position is responsible for developing and leading Johnson County Community College’s (JCCC) compensation program and initiatives. The Compensation Manager provides strategic input to the development of compensation policies and practices, offers compensation advice and support, and conducts internal and external pay analysis. The role also ensures that JCCC’s compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
SRC Tutor - Biology Overland Park Main Campus
Tutor students in various Biology courses taught at Johnson County Community College. Other responsibilities include referring students to appropriate resources, assist students with computer software necessary for the courses, and other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Senior Buyer - Information Technology Services Overland Park Main Campus
Promotes the most effective use of college funds in acquiring services and commodities. Heavy emphasis on professional services agreements within Information Technology (IT) and Information Services (IS), software agreements, hardware, software, and other technology-related goods and commodities. Evaluates market conditions, defines needs with departments, and manages sourcing through various bidding methods. Reviews, establishes, negotiates, and manages contracts for the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Procurement Department. Leads and manages daily activities in the absence of the Procurement Director.
Sr Videographer/Editor Overland Park Main Campus
Provide video recording and editing services in support of faculty, staff, and students in a variety of different formats and using different platforms. Manage multi-camera studio and remote projects from pre-production through final delivery.
Athletic Facility Check-In Worker Overland Park Main Campus
Provide admittance and information while interacting with students, staff, and the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Community at the athletic fieldhouse.
Assistant Professor, Information Technology Overland Park Main Campus
This faculty position in the Information Technology-Networking department is within the Computing Sciences and Information Technology Division. The Faculty member is expected to possess expert level knowledge in the IT discipline. The Faculty member will carry teaching load in a variety of IT areas including: networking, systems administration, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. The faculty member is expected to demonstrate competence in mastery of subject matter, professional development, teaching performance, evaluation of student learning, participation in college/division/program activities, support college policies and procedures, and contribution to the growth and enhancement of college mission and programs. This position demands a positive team player, with leadership and project management skills.
Tutor II MRC Overland Park Main Campus
Tutor students in various Mathematics courses taught in Johnson County Community College. Other responsibilities include referring students to appropriate resources, assisting students with computer software and calculator skills necessary for the courses, helping with problem solving skills required in Mathematics, mentoring new and peer tutors, working in outreach programs, and other duties as requested by the supervisor.
