Heavy emphasis on business services and commodities such as the following: banking, financial, insurance, employee benefits, legal, space rental and vehicle lease agreements, and other professional services. This position also occasionally serves a backup to the other Senior Buyers within the areas of Architecture/Engineering/Construction and Information Technology commodities and services. Evaluates market conditions, defines needs with departments, and manages sourcing through various bidding methods. Reviews, establishes, negotiates, and manages contracts for the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Procurement Department. Leads and manages daily activities in the absence of the Procurement Director.
