Clinical Lab Assistant - Neurodiagnostic Technology are responsible for assisting with the instructional needs of NDT course laboratory sessions. Assistant Professor, English Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is searching to fill a full-time faculty position in English (with emphases listed below). JCCC is in Overland Park, KS, the second largest city in the state of Kansas and part of the greater Kansas City Metro. JCCC is dedicated to maintaining a rich cultural community, with an award-winning contemporary art museum and center for the performing arts located on campus. JCCC is looking for a diverse pool of applicants for this full-time faculty position. Full-time faculty in English work to strike a balance between teaching and research and have strong professional connections with regional and national composition, rhetoric, and literature professional organizations. Many of our 18,000 students are nontraditional, military veterans, immigrants, international, and first-generation college students. The successful candidate for this job will teach the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester in composition, with the potential to teach literature courses. The successful candidate will perform other duties expected of full-time faculty, including maintaining scheduled office hours; developing and revising curriculum; developing and implementing course and program assessment of student learning outcomes; participating in department, division, and college meetings; serving on committees; and other duties as assigned. Teaching assignments could be a combination of online, hybrid, and face-to-face classes and are subject to change as assigned.
CPAT Proctor Overland Park Main Campus
The position will direct candidates in the process of the eight steps and how to stay safe during the CPAT evaluation. The position includes equipment handling and operations. Set up and tear down of CPAT stations, and ability to teach the skills for the candidate to successfully complete the CPAT course. Must have the ability to run, climb stairs, maneuver CPAT test equipment, perform CPAT test skills demonstrating the skills for candidates. Must communicate with other staff members and candidates via written and verbal mediums. This can occur during routine and non-routine duties such as equipment set-up, prop construction and removal, CPAT installation and testing. Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies. Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs.
Student Support Technician Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Support Technician serves as the first point-of-contact for JCCC student support. This position is responsible for initial triage and assistance in determining the resolution of student issues, escalation of issues to higher level technical support professionals when necessary, and reporting of trends when requests appear to be out of the ordinary. The Student Support Technician will also be directly involved in the JCCC knowledge management process.

The ideal candidate or candidates will be expected to teach one to three sections of Cultural Anthropology or World Cultures. Other duties expected of part-time faculty include meeting for scheduled office hours, implementing course assessment of student learning outcomes, and other duties as assigned. The candidate must be able to teach on-campus during the day; MWF from 8:00-2:00 or TR 8:00-2:00, beginning Spring 2026. Teaching assignments are subject to change as needed.
Lab Technician, MFAB Overland Park Main Campus
The PT laboratory technician will work with other part-time and full-time lab techs at the direction of the Chair of the MFAB department. The task will include preparing materials, maintaining equipment and ordering supplies. JCCC is looking for a diverse pool of applicants for a part-time adjunct faculty position in the Foreign Language Department to serve as a substitute or teach Elementary Chinese in the day or evening in the summer, spring or fall semesters on campus or on Zoom. The Foreign Language Department is part of the Communications Division. Many of our students are non-traditional, military veterans, immigrants, international and first-generation college students. JCCC has a diverse student population and is dedicated to increasing its diversity. The successful applicant for this job may teach the equivalent of 5-10 credit hours or serve as a substitute professor. This person will perform other duties expected of adjunct faculty, to include collaborating and working successfully with other full-time and adjunct faculty in the Foreign Language department and other duties as assigned. Additional possible responsibilities: Provide extra and co-curricular opportunities for Chinese language students. Participate in the planning and administration of all departmental initiatives. Participate in on-campus events promoting languages. Complete ACTFL and/or other departmental training. Candidates will be interviewed using Zoom and will be asked to teach a 30 minute class using Zoom.
