Pay Range:  $20.02-$25.77 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: Provide video recording and editing services in support of faculty, staff, and students in a variety of different formats and using different platforms. Manage multi-camera studio and remote projects from pre-production through final delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Conducts important technical work under moderate supervision and often works independently.
  • Requires high school diploma and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Edit video and audio for recordings ranging from seconds to hours in length.
  • Record video and audio of studio and remote productions. 
  • Create high-quality videos, motion graphics, audio-visual materials, and aids for training, information, and instruction purposes.
  • Set equipment up for studio and remote productions, including multiple cameras, audio sources, studio and remote lighting, backgrounds/backdrops, and more. 
  • Operate other equipment as needed including audio mixers, video switchers, character generators, teleprompters, etc. Works with faculty during studio demonstrations and assists with equipment operation when classes are taking place in the student studio. 
  • Schedule appointments and meet with clients, department co-workers, and other supporting departments to organize production details throughout all phases of each project. 
  • Provides training for new staff members, directs multi-camera productions such as board meetings and large productions, and conducts detailed training on complex production equipment such as the video switcher. 
  • Maintain and manage files and keep projects organized. Label and back up projects, track work on the department production tracker, and delete media appropriately.
