Position Summary: The Assistant Professor, Health Occupations is responsible for facilitating class, lab, and clinical instruction of high school and adult Health Occupations students during fall, summer, and spring semesters.
Required Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or Multi-State Licensure or
have the qualifications to obtain licensure in Kansas as a Registered Nurse.
- Continuing education about person-centered care.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Comfortable with technology.
- 2-5 Years experience as a nurse in long term care or medical surgical nursing.
- Experience in supervising CNA’s and/or LPN’s.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Higher Education Experience.
- One year or 1,750 hours of employment as a nurse in a long term care facility.
