Part-time instructor for various drafting courses within the program. Instructor should be able to identify and apply the essential, basic skills of drafting. These include, measuring, geometric construction, sketching, isometrics, orthographic views, section views, dimensioning and auxiliary views.
Maintenance Mechanic (Emphasis in Electrical) Overland Park Main Campus
Perform assigned preventive maintenance work orders and breakdown or corrective work orders. Assist in other skill areas when needed. Assist in snow removal when needed.
Customer Service Specialist Overland Park Main Campus
Answer phones; provide general bookstore information and sales support for high volume retail operation. Assist customers with purchases, operate cash register and assist with data entry. Receive, price, and stock merchandise. Preform operational duties at buyback and rental check-in at end of semesters. Take part in cyclical and fiscal physical inventory.
Senior Financial Aid Compliance Coordinator Overland Park Main Campus
Responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and updating comprehensive policies and procedures to ensure the institution’s compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to the Federal Higher Education Act, institutional policies and procedures, the Kansas Board of Regents, National Junior College Athletic Association, and other entities related to the proper allocation and distribution of aid programs at JCCC. Oversee, monitor, and update the Consumer Information and ECAR/PPA defined by the Higher Education Act. Review and update various course eligibility and academic progress processes.

JCCC is looking for a diverse pool of applicants for a full-time faculty position in the ASL & Deaf Studies Department to teach Elementary and Intermediate ASL courses including Fingerspelling, Introduction to the Deaf Community, the Linguistics of ASL, and/or ASL Literature courses. The ASL & Deaf Studies Department offers an ASL Studies Certificate and ASL courses that serve as preparation for students to continue their education in bachelor’s degree programs. The department is part of the Communications Division.

The Coordinator assists the Director of International Education in further goals of internationalizing the campus and the curriculum and supporting the JCCC value of diversity of thought.
Program Director, Johnson County Adult Education Overland Park Main Campus
Establish, maintain, promote, and continuously improve Johnson County Adult Education (JCAE) programs to meet the needs of adult students and the local workforce. Program components include Adult Basic Education, General Education Development (GED) Test Preparation, Career Technical Education, English language skills including knowledge of U.S. civics and culture, digital literacy, and general college and workforce/career readiness. Most programs are grant funded, some with government grants and others with foundation and other private grants; each grant carries different requirements, obligations, agency relationships, and accountabilities, which are continuously evolving. Collectively, adult education programs serve on average about 1400 students per year at six primary program locations as well as at ancillary locations (employer locations, Corrections, etc.). The position is responsible for approximately 70 instructional and office staff members and about 150 classroom volunteers.

Museum Guards assist in the observation of visitors within the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art to ensure protection of the collection of art. Successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Registrar. Museum Guards maintain order in assigned areas by addressing inappropriate behavior in a confident, calm, and friendly manner. Museum Guards provide information and directs visitors to galleries, restrooms, information desks and other points of interest.

The ZFCHS adjunct nursing faculty is a clinically experienced subject matter expert who is responsible for facilitating student learning and performance in the on-site simulation center. The ZFCHS provides an immersive simulation learning experience for Associate Degree Nursing students.
