Teach one (1) or two (2) section(s) of JCCC course CMGT-100 Industrial Safety/OSHA-30 in the Fall 2024 & Spring 2025 semester. Conduct a 30-Hour OSHA Outreach Training course simultaneous with a 3-credit hour college course for Freshmen Welding (Metal Fabrication) students. Classes would be weekly (on Fridays) in-person / on-campus, with a maximum 18 students per class. Responsibilities would include both OSHA Authorized Instructor record-keeping and Trainer responsibilities in addition to College Instructor record-keeping, grading, testing, and related responsibilities.

Tutor, Web Development, Academic Achievement Center Overland Park Main Campus
Provide one-on-one individualized and drop-in tutoring services to students at JCCC. Demonstrate understanding of the unique learning needs of students and adapt to those individual needs. Remain current on subject matter in courses which they are assigned for tutoring. Maintain a working knowledge of learning strategies. Attend trainings on topics pertaining to tutoring techniques and working with students of varying abilities. Other responsibilities include referring students to appropriate resources, assisting students, faculty, and staff in the AAC, working in outreach programs, and other duties as assigned.

The MSF Rider Coach is responsible for participant learning in the classroom and on the training range for the basic rider and the experienced rider course in accordance with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) standards. Health and Human Services (HHS) provides quality continuing education for health care professionals that meet licensing requirements for RNs, APRNs, LPNs, social workers, counselors, registered dietitians, respiratory therapists, psychologists, massage therapists, physical and occupational therapists, and nursing home administrators. Qualified instructors are needed to develop and deliver various HHS classes. Classes are conducted in a continuing education classroom environment, live online, or at a client site in the morning, afternoon or evening sessions during weekdays or weekends.

CDL A Instructor – Truck Driver Trainer Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking experienced CDL Truck Drivers to conduct CDL training classes. JCCC offers commercial truck driver training courses to prepare new drivers for their commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A. In this role, we instruct people how to properly conduct pre-trip inspections and safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. This is a part-time position. Number of workdays per month are flexible. Hours are based on course schedules and could include weekdays, evenings, and weekends as available.
