Adjunct Professor - Animation: Entertainment and Game Art Design in Overland Park Main Campus
The Animation Department is seeking an adjunct professor to teach on-campus, 15-week, face-to-face sections of 2D and 3D animation classes as assigned and capacity allows. There is the possibility that an occasional online or HYB section could be assigned. This is a professional training program using industry software with the goal of making our graduates ready to be competitive and job ready in the animation and digital media profession. The successful applicant for this job may teach Integrated Lecture Lab courses with the equivalent of 5.1 workload hours, and/or serve as a substitute professor. This person will perform other duties expected of adjunct faculty, to include collaborating and working successfully with other full-time and adjunct faculty in the Animation department and other duties as assigned. JCCC is located in Overland Park, KS, the second largest city in the state of Kansas and part of the greater Kansas City Metro. The Kansas City Metro is known for its museums, restaurants, and music and art scenes. JCCC is similarly dedicated to creating and maintaining a rich cultural community, with an award-winning contemporary art museum and center for the performing arts located on campus.

Adjunct Assistant Professor, Automation Engineer Technology in Overland Park Main Campus
The Industrial Maintenance/Automation program is seeking a qualified candidate for Adjunct. Responsibilities include teaching sections of courses within this program (Maintenance Principles, Fluid Power, Electrical Theory, PLC and Robotics) during both daytime and evening hours, as well as participation in professional development and service to the division, college and community. Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor. Required Skills: Thorough knowledge of NEC Ability to use curriculum to lecture and demonstrate within a class or lab environment. Knowledge of safety in the industrial maintenance field. Ability to work with a variety of industrial tools and operations including pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe bending, rigging and lifting. Preferred Skills: Industry recognized certification. At least two years of experience teaching in a vocational setting. Prior experience developing curriculum related to industrial principles.

Adjunct Spanish Professor in Overland Park Main Campus
The Foreign Language department is seeking a Spanish adjunct professor to teach Elementary and Intermediate level Spanish language. JCCC is located in Overland Park, KS, the second largest city in the state of Kansas and part of the greater Kansas City Metro. The Kansas City Metro is known for its museums, restaurants, and music and art scenes. JCCC is similarly dedicated to creating and maintaining a rich cultural community, with an award-winning contemporary art museum and center for the performing arts located on campus. JCCC is looking for applicants for a part-time adjunct faculty position in the Foreign Language Department to serve as a substitute or teach Elementary and Intermediate Spanish in the day or evening in the summer, spring or fall semesters in person and live online (Zoom). The Foreign Language Department is part of the Communications Division. The successful applicant for this job may teach the equivalent of 5-10 credit hours or serve as a substitute professor. This person will perform other duties expected of adjunct faculty, to include collaborating and working successfully with other full-time and adjunct faculty in the Foreign Language department and other duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities: Provide extra and co-curricular opportunities for Spanish language students. Participate in the planning and administration of all departmental initiatives. Participate in on-campus events promoting languages. Complete ACTFL and/or other departmental training. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Candidates will be interviewed and will be asked to demonstrate a 30-minute class in person or on Zoom.

Tutor I - Math Resource Center in Overland Park Main Campus
Tutor students in various Mathematics courses taught in Johnson County Community College. Other responsibilities include referring students to appropriate resources, assist students with computer software, web-based homework platforms, and calculator skills necessary for the courses, help with problem solving skills required in Mathematics, and other duties as requested by the supervisor.
