Lab Technician, MFAB in Overland Park Main Campus
The PT laboratory technician will work with other part-time and full-time lab techs at the direction of the Chair of the MFAB department. The task will include preparing materials, maintaining equipment and ordering supplies. These duties help to create a safe organized working environment and allows the various night instructors that use the lab more time with the students. This will be one of two PT lab technicians.

CPAT Proctor in Overland Park Main Campus
The position will direct candidates in the process of the eight steps and how to stay safe during the CPAT evaluation. The position includes equipment handling and operations. Set up and tear down of CPAT stations, and ability to teach the skills for the candidate to successfully complete the CPAT course. Must have the ability to run, climb stairs, maneuver CPAT test equipment, perform CPAT test skills demonstrating the skills for candidates. Must communicate with other staff members and candidates via written and verbal mediums. This can occur during routine and non-routine duties such as equipment set-up, prop construction and removal, CPAT installation and testing. Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies. Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs.

Adjunct Assistant Professor, Electrical Technology in Overland Park Main Campus
The Electrical Technology program is seeking qualified candidates for Adjunct Assistant Professor. The candidate would teach residential electrical construction wiring methods, which include relevant NEC codes, safe practices using tools and materials, and residential blueprint reading. Courses are taught in laboratory and lecture settings. Class meeting times are during the evening hours with some online work completed outside of class.

Adjunct Spanish Professor in Overland Park Main Campus
The Foreign Language department is seeking a Spanish adjunct professor to teach Elementary level Spanish language. JCCC is located in Overland Park, KS, the second largest city in the state of Kansas and part of the greater Kansas City Metro. The Kansas City Metro is known for its museums, restaurants, and music and art scenes. JCCC is similarly dedicated to creating and maintaining a rich cultural community, with an award-winning contemporary art museum and center for the performing arts located on campus. JCCC is looking for a diverse pool of applicants for a part-time adjunct faculty position in the Foreign Language Department to serve as a substitute or teach Elementary and Intermediate Spanish in the day or evening in the summer, spring or fall semesters in person and live online (Zoom). The Foreign Language Department is part of the Communications Division. Many of our students are non-traditional, military veterans, immigrants, international and first-generation college students. JCCC has a diverse student population and is dedicated to increasing its diversity. The successful applicant for this job may teach the equivalent of 5-10 credit hours or serve as a substitute professor. This person will perform other duties expected of adjunct faculty, to include collaborating and working successfully with other full-time and adjunct faculty in the Foreign Language department and other duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities: Provide extra and co-curricular opportunities for Spanish language students. Participate in the planning and administration of all departmental initiatives. Participate in on-campus events promoting languages. Complete ACTFL and/or other departmental training. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Candidates will be interviewed and will be asked to demonstrate a 30-minute class in person or on Zoom.
