Non - Credit Continuing Education Instructor - Heavy Equipment Operator in Overland Park Main Campus
We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to conduct non-credit training classes. In this part-time role, instructors will assist in creating and updating content, teach non-credit students how to safely operate various pieces of heavy equipment, and be a liaison with off-site externship sites. Training will be delivered through actual hands-on equipment in a field situation and/or in a classroom on a simulator. CDL A Instructor – Truck Driver Trainer in Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking experienced CDL Truck Drivers to conduct CDL training classes. JCCC offers commercial truck driver training courses to prepare new drivers for their commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A. In this role, we instruct people how to properly conduct pre-trip inspections and safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. This is a part-time position. Number of workdays per month are flexible. Hours are based on course schedules and could include weekdays, evenings, and weekends as available.

Student Life Ambassadors (SLA) assist in the development and implementation of programs that foster student engagement and belonging at JCCC. Additionally, this position helps perform the day-to-day functions associated with the operations of Student Life offices and are hired for one of the below teams: - Center for Student Involvement: Clubs & Organizations – Get Involved @ JCCC engagement portal - Student Lounge: living room of the campus – gaming consoles & equipment check-out. - Student Engagement Desk/Student Activities: Student ID Cards & College Switchboard - Student Basic Needs Center: Cav Cupboard food pantry, emergency housing/transportation assistance or other hardships.
