This full-time faculty position begins in August 2026 in the Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) department. CSIS encompasses computer science, information systems, data science/data analytics, and is currently developing applied artificial intelligence courses. Current CSIS needs include developing and teaching courses in data science/data analytics and applied artificial intelligence. Full-time CSIS faculty are required to teach an average of 15 credit hours per semester. Teaching assignments may be any combination of face-to-face, hybrid, online, day or evening, and are subject to change as needed. Regular on-campus presence is required. The selected candidate is expected to demonstrate mastery of subject matter, teaching, and evaluation of student learning. Faculty participate in professional development and college/division/program activities, support college policies and procedures, and contribute to the growth and enhancement of college mission and programs. This position demands collaboration across the department and the ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and maintain relationships with industry and academic partners.
