Supported Education Programs Instructors teach non-credit specialized instruction seminars for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the CLEAR and CONNECT programs. Responsible for course content development and adaptation to meet diverse learning needs. Responsible for classroom instruction and evaluating student progress including testing, grading and maintaining an interactive Canvas course. Hold weekly office hours and collaborate with peer mentors to support student success. All courses take place face-to-face on the JCCC campus. *This is a 12 month position.

Clinical Instructor, Registered Nursing in Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking part-time clinical instructors to teach in the areas of Med/Surg, or Maternal-Child/Pediatrics, in the acute care hospital setting, starting in the spring 2026 term. Instructors would work with a group of 2nd semester or 4th semester ADN students at a clinical agency setting one (1) day a week. This individual may be asked to be available for on campus activities as needed.

The CLEAR Saturday instructor will teach academic, enrichment classes and/or social skills to adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities in a college environment during the CLEAR Saturday program The instructor is responsible for developing curriculum/lesson plans and providing classroom instruction. This position will be responsible for teaching two classes on Saturdays from 12:30pm-3:00pm.

Adjunct Assistant Professor, Psychology in Overland Park Main Campus
The Psychology Department at Johnson County Community College (JCCC) is looking for Adjunct Faculty who can teach psychology courses in person and/or online formats following departmental guidelines for the courses. Preference will be given to successful candidates who can teach in person during the day, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Courses are taught on an "as needed" basis. Courses to be taught include Introduction to Psychology, Human Development, Psychological Statistics, and/or Research Methods in Psychology. Adjunct Faculty need to be a resident Kansas or Missouri and need to be able to attend occasional meetings on campus in Overland Park, Kansas. Review of applicants will begin immediately.
