Financial Aid Coordinator, Fraud Prevention Overland Park Main Campus
The Financial Aid Coordinator plays a vital role in protecting the college from identity theft, financial aid fraud, and abuse. This position is responsible for identifying and investigating suspicious activity, monitoring fraud-related trends, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The Coordinator supports compliance with federal regulations and internal policies while collaborating across departments to maintain a secure and student-centered environment.
Campus Police Communications Sergeant Overland Park Main Campus
Supervise Police Dispatchers and other assigned Police personnel in the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Police Department. Responsible for the enforcement of rules, regulations, and state and local laws, as well as the security of JCCC's campus. Oversee the operations of the department Communications Center, leading dispatch personnel and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Act as the department's Records Custodian, overseeing the maintenance, retention, and release of police records, reports, and serialized department assets. Serve as the department's systems administrator for multiple operational and emergency platforms. Support general law enforcement functions, including patrol operations and participation in campus safety initiatives. Regular schedule includes weekends. Flexible coverage is required as necessary to support large or special College events or activities with excessive crowd size.

Manage and process the electronic inbound transcripts accounts and determine accreditation of incoming transcripts.
Adjunct Professor-Chinese Overland Park Main Campus
The Foreign Language department is seeking a Chinese adjunct professor to teach Elementary level Chinese language. JCCC is located in Overland Park, KS, the second largest city in the state of Kansas and part of the greater Kansas City Metro. The Kansas City Metro is known for its museums, restaurants, and music and art scenes. JCCC is similarly dedicated to creating and maintaining a rich cultural community, with an award-winning contemporary art museum and center for the performing arts located on campus. JCCC is looking for a diverse pool of applicants for a part-time adjunct faculty position in the Foreign Language Department to serve as a substitute or teach Elementary Chinese in the day or evening in the summer, spring or fall semesters on campus or on Zoom. The Foreign Language Department is part of the Communications Division. Many of our students are non-traditional, military veterans, immigrants, international and first-generation college students. JCCC has a diverse student population and is dedicated to increasing its diversity. The successful applicant for this job may teach the equivalent of 5-10 credit hours or serve as a substitute professor. This person will perform other duties expected of adjunct faculty, to include collaborating and working successfully with other full-time and adjunct faculty in the Foreign Language department and other duties as assigned. Additional possible responsibilities: Provide extra and co-curricular opportunities for Chinese language students. Participate in the planning and administration of all departmental initiatives. Participate in on-campus events promoting languages. Complete ACTFL and/or other departmental training. Candidates will be interviewed using Zoom and will be asked to teach a 30 minute class using Zoom.
