Vice President, Chief Financial Officer Overland Park Main Campus
The Vice President/Chief Financial Officer (VP/CFO) is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to ensure the financial integrity of Johnson County Community College (JCCC). The VP/CFO is a member of the President’s Cabinet and oversees approximately 200 employees in the Financial Services and Business Services departments. The VP/CFO reports to the Executive Vice President, Finance & Administrative Services. The VP/CFO is responsible for the financial records of the College and ensures the accurate and timely preparation of all fiscal reports, including monthly internal financial statements, the annual financial statement audit report, and College budget documents. The VP/CFO is responsible for development and management of the College’s annual budget process, including preparation of long-range budget forecasts and financial plans that support the strategic goals of the College. The VP/CFO is responsible for capital financing, debt management, and investment of reserve funds in accordance with statutory requirements and College policies. The VP/CFO ensures College procurement activities are appropriately directed and authorized, and that operations of respective business/auxiliary units serve the needs of the campus community in an effective and efficient manner.

Our program prepares students to work as electronic technicians. All our coursework combines classroom and hands-on laboratory experiences; critical thinking skills emphasized include troubleshooting and analysis. Our digital electronics sequence covers a wide range of topics including binary and hexadecimal number systems, basic Boolean algebra, logic gates, registers, flip-flops, computer architecture, microprocessors, microcontrollers, embedded programming concepts, and analog/digital interfacing. The sequence culminates in a capstone experience where students implement a unique digital system centered around a microcontroller.
Deputy Chief Information Officer, Infrastructure and Operations Overland Park Main Campus
The Deputy Chief Information Officer for Infrastructure and Operations (DCIO) is the most senior role in the Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) function within Information Services. This position oversees the management, operations, and maintenance of JCCC’s computing infrastructure, information systems, networks, data centers, hardware, software, and services supporting a broad portfolio of applications and business capabilities. As a key member of the senior IT leadership team, this role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy, ensuring that the I&O strategy is fully aligned to deliver compelling business value. The DCIO works with IS leaders and staff to measure, assess, adapt, tune, and continuously improve all information and technology-related service offerings, defining and evaluating KPIs for services and delivery teams. They evaluate the full lifecycle and flow of work for I&O efforts, using established governance processes to make timely, data-informed decisions about the relative priority of IT projects and investments. The DCIO collaborates with the CIO, IS, and college leaders to drive digital transformation outcomes across the institution, balancing stability with innovation. They must cultivate relationships between service delivery teams and business teams, fostering a culture focused on delivering valuable services in support of the JCCC mission, vision, and values.
