Pay Range:  $17.82-$22.80 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: The Lab Application Support Specialist assists with specialized application support, specialized hardware support, and provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors while in the Computer Labs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in 2 of the following software:
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe InDesign
    • Adobe Illustrator

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of relevant work experience
  • Associate degree in related field
  • Customer service experience

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain operations of program labs (room access, orderliness of lab, functioning of equipment as defined by management, etc.)
  • Manage access to student checkout items for programs i.e., books, drafting kits, MIDI equipment. 
  • Assist students with program lab specific hardware i.e., scanners, MFDs, large format photo printers, larger format plotter, scanner & copier.
  • Assist students with program specific software i.e., AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Pro Tools
  • Provide customer service by troubleshooting and offering help followed up by submitting tickets to document issues students, staff, and faculty encounter.
  • Submit tickets when issues are discovered with hardware or software in the program labs.
  • Use available resources to maintain an adequate working knowledge of the software and hardware in their respective areas.
