Buyer - Materials Overland Park Main Campus
The Buyer promotes the most effective use of college funds in acquiring commodities and services. This position supports MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) and lower-risk procurements of the Senior Buyer - Campus Services. Manages tangible commodities and one-off purchases such as vehicles, equipment, linen rentals, general goods, low-risk Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC)-related acquisitions, and low-risk professional services. Manages the the College’s external purchasing accounts such as Amazon, Lowes, Home Depot, Grainger, and others. Fulfills KORA (Kansas Open Record Act) requests in accordance with college policy and state statutes. This position reports directly to the Executive Director, Procurement Services.

Studio Arts Technician II Overland Park Main Campus
Department of Fine Arts at Johnson County Community College is looking for a qualified Part-Time Studio Technician in its Ceramics Area.  Studio Technician's job responsibilities include: Open Studio monitoring. Providing student access and ensuring safe use of the ceramics studio space and equipment. Cleaning tasks may include: wet cleaning surfaces, sinks and equipment. Studio Technician will also assist Studio Manager with kiln preparation, loading and unloading, and kiln firings. Additional tasks may include assistance with glaze preparation and clay mixing. Other tasks may be assigned as needed by the supervisor to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Fine Arts Department.

The Executive Assistant serves as the first point of contact and provides operational support and assistance with day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency.
Textbook Receiver Overland Park Main Campus
Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor handle receiving, logging, and routing of all General Course Material deliveries, check-in, stocking, online order processing, and return of textbooks and merchandise. Perform operational duties at buyback, rental check-in at the end of each semester, and take part in cyclical and fiscal, physical inventory. This position reports to Supervisor, Bookstore Warehouse.
Tutor III, SRC Biology Overland Park Main Campus
SRC Tutor - Biology, provides academic support for students taking Biology and/or Environmental Science courses through a variety of modalities and methods in higher-level courses and content, incorporating executive functioning skills; refer students to other relevant resources. Assist with creation and implementation of center-specific projects and training as appropriate; work with various campus partners to create learning opportunities for students; assist in other daily activities in the relevant center. This position will also be responsible for training and mentoring Embedded Tutors hired for Life Science courses.
Student Support Technician Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Support Technician serves as the first point-of-contact for JCCC student support. This position is responsible for initial triage and assistance in determining the resolution of student issues, escalation of issues to higher level technical support professionals when necessary, and reporting of trends when requests appear to be out of the ordinary. The Student Support Technician will also be directly involved in the JCCC knowledge management process.
Child Care Aide Overland Park Main Campus
Aid in the preparation and implementation of a program appropriate for a designated group of young children when assigned to fill in for other staff members at the Hiersteiner Child Development Center (HCDC).
Supported Education Programs Instructor Overland Park Main Campus
Supported Education Programs Instructors teach non-credit specialized instruction seminars for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the CLEAR and CONNECT programs. Responsible for course content development and adaptation to meet diverse learning needs. Responsible for classroom instruction and evaluating student progress including testing, grading and maintaining an interactive Canvas course. Hold weekly office hours and collaborate with peer mentors to support student success. All courses take place face-to-face on the JCCC campus.
Travel & P-Card Analyst Overland Park Main Campus
Manages and assists in processing all travel-related documentation, including requests, expense reports and out-of-pocket reimbursements. Assists with the managing of the college Procurement Card program. Provides excellent customer service in the delivery and correspondence related to both programs. Assisting with any travel-related issues that may arise. Promotes the most effective use of college funds.
Tutor II, Writing Center Overland Park Main Campus
Tutor students through a variety of modalities and methods in specific subjects; refer students to other relevant resources. Assist with center-specific projects and training as appropriate; assist with other daily activities in the relevant center. Fulfills key function of working one-on-one with students in the Writing Center.
Athletic Event Worker Overland Park Main Campus

Class B CDL Driver, Oral Health on Wheels Mobile Dental Unit Overland Park Main Campus
The primary responsibility of the CDL Driver Position is to transport the Oral Health on Wheels (OHOW) mobile dental unit from the Johnson County Community College vehicle garage to various affiliate site locations and back to the garage. This will occur 2 days per week, Mondays and Wednesdays. Other responsibilities include: 1. Oversee all pre-road inspections and notify the OHOW Coordinator and Campus Services of any issues or concerns. 2. Report and coordinate with Campus Services all necessary scheduled maintenance, records and documentation needs. 3. Operate and check the leveling system and all other mechanical systems are fully operational upon arrival and departure. 4. Secure the area around the truck and affix all safety handrails for entrance in the vehicle. 5. Responsible for attaching the shoreline, filling the water holding tanks and emptying the wastewater each day. 6. Refuel and wash the truck as needed.
