Assistant Professor CNA Olathe Health Education Center (OHEC)
The 12-month Full-Time Assistant Professor in the Health Occupations will perform the duties expected of full-time faculty, including maintaining scheduled office hours; developing and revising curriculum; developing and implementing course and program assessment of student learning outcomes; participating in college, division, and department meetings; serving on committees; and other duties as assigned. This person will also teach CNA courses in partnership with JCCC High School.
Marketing Photographer/Videographer Overland Park Main Campus
The Marketing Photographer/Videographer supports JCCC mission by developing strategic photos and videos that advance the College’s marketing and communications goals. Through original photography, videography, editing, and multimedia storytelling, this role produces compelling content for owned, earned, shared and paid channels. The position supports enrollment and retention efforts, strengthens the College’s reputation, and helps engage key audiences through high-quality, visual storytelling that align with JCCC’s brand identity. Administrative Assistant I, SRC Overland Park Main Campus
Work under the guidance of the supervisor to manage the activities of the appropriate resource center at Johnson County Community College (JCCC) to ensure a friendly, productive, and safe learning environment for students. Serve as the initial contact of the center and complete day-to-day office support duties using effective communication, organizational, and time management skills and under close supervision.
SRC Tutor I A&P Overland Park Main Campus
Tutor students through a variety of modalities and methods, refer students to other relevant resources, and assist with daily activities in the relevant resource center for Johnson County Community College (JCCC). The A&P tutor provides tutoring for students in Anatomy & Physiology courses. In addition to that, the tutor conducts review sessions, leads group discussions and help with learning Anatomy models.
Student Support Technician Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Support Technician serves as the first point-of-contact for JCCC student support. This position is responsible for initial triage and assistance in determining the resolution of student issues, escalation of issues to higher level technical support professionals when necessary, and reporting of trends when requests appear to be out of the ordinary. The Student Support Technician will also be directly involved in the JCCC knowledge management process.

The Motorcycle Range Aid assists the MSF Rider Coach Motorcycle instructor's Instruction on the range. Responsibilities include range instruction exercise set up, garage storage organization, record keeping within the fleet maintenance system, and participation with demonstrations as necessary. Work Schedule: Weekend Shifts 6:00 am - 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Ability to support weekday courses on Wednesday and Thursday mornings preferred but not required.
Adjunct Assistant Professor - Communication Studies Overland Park Main Campus
Johnson County Community College is seeking qualified applicants for part-time teaching assignments in the Communication Studies Department beginning spring 2027. Instructors are needed for teaching on-campus, face-to-face classes. The current need is for morning and early afternoon classes. Online course assignments are not available for this position. Classes may include Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Intercultural Communication, Personal Communication and Workplace Skills. Candidates must have the ability to use the Canvas LMS for syllabus and grades.
Accident Scene Management Instructor Overland Park Main Campus
JCCC is searching for an Accident Scene Management Instructor. Instructors for this position will deliver motorcycle-specific accident scene management training using the accredited Road Guardians curriculum. As required by the curriculum, all instructors must have at minimum an EMS certification and actively ride motorcycles. This position may require travel to deliver to training across the state of Kansas.
Lab Coordinator, Chemistry Overland Park Main Campus
The Chemistry Department is looking to hire a full-time Chemistry Laboratory Coordinator. Duties include but not limited to the following: Prepare chemical reagents and laboratory materials for each lab and all lab practical exams for all courses, including Principles of Chemistry, General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Communicate regularly with faculty, the Chair of Chemistry and the Dean of Science. Maintain adequate stock supplies, submit orders, and keep computer database of purchases. Maintain equipment in operational condition. Maintain chemical and equipment inventory. Keep lab areas clean and organized. Supervise federal work study and part-time lab aides. Manage inventory and sale of used lab coats and goggles. Manage and prepare chemistry lab waste for storage and disposal. Assistant Professor, Information Technology Overland Park Main Campus
This faculty position in the Information Technology department is within the Computing Sciences and Information Technology Division. The Faculty member is expected to possess expert level knowledge in the IT discipline. The Faculty member will carry teaching load in a variety of IT areas including: networking, systems administration, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. The faculty member is expected to demonstrate competence in mastery of subject matter, professional development, teaching performance, evaluation of student learning, participation in college/division/program activities, support college policies and procedures, and contribution to the growth and enhancement of college mission and programs. This position demands a positive team player with leadership and project management skills.
