Position Summary: Johnson County Community College is looking to fill an adjunct teaching position in our Photography & Filmmaking program. JCCC is looking for a diverse pool of applicants for an adjunct studio teaching position that will support the Filmmaking area with strong skills in Film, Video and/or New Media art. We educate a large, diverse student body. Many of our 18,000 students are non-traditional, military veterans, immigrants, international, and first-generation college students. African-American, Asian-American, and Hispanic student populations are also growing. JCCC is committed to increasing the diversity of our college community.

Required Qualifications:

  • MFA in Filmmaking, New Media, and/or Video Art, or directly related field
  • A qualified candidate will have the ability to teach concept forward studio projects using professional camera equipment and editing software including Adobe CC
  • Previous teaching experience in higher education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cinematic professional camera equipment
  • Experience with DaVinci resolve
  • Demonstrated exhibition record
