Position Summary: The Facility Check-In Worker provides information and interacts successfully with students, staff and the JCCC Community. Provide information about the facility and neighboring facilities. Maintains the Check in and checkouts process for students, staff and the JCCC Community. Checkout and maintain inventory of Facility Sports equipment. Reports any equipment Damage. Monitor the safety and security of Participants. Reports and accidents and prepare accident reports.

Required Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills with the public and diverse community members
• Must understand differing safety and risk factors of a recreation facility

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer knowledge

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Main duty – provides information and interacts with students, staff and the JCCC Community Performance is acceptable when: a. Interacts successfully with students, staff and the JCCC community b. Provides information about the facility and neighboring facilities.
  • Main duty – Ensures proper check-in and checkout process for equipment Performance is acceptable when: a. Maintains the check in and checkouts process for students, staff and the JCCC Community b. Checkout and maintain inventory of facility sports equipment c. Reports any equipment damage.
  • Main duty – Ensures that safety and injury prevention measures are followed Performance is acceptable when: a. Monitor the safety and security of participants. b. Reports and accidents and prepare accident reports c. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
