Position Summary: Responsible for all aspects inventory control. To include purchasing, rotation, minimizing waste, and recording inventory
Responsible for the streamlined organization of production within the given areas of Dining Services
Responsible for maintaining all JCCC Dining Services facilities so that all health code requirements are exceeded
Responsible for daily set-up & break-down of assigned area within JCCC Dining Services
Responsible for leading, scheduling, training of staff throughout JCCC Dining Services

Required Qualifications: High School degree or equivalent.
Must have strong intrapersonal, communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications: A.A. in culinary arts or certification from an accredited culinary school.
Five years of food service experience.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • 1. Production and food preparation of assigned areas within Dining Services Performance is acceptable when: a. A safe, clean and healthy production kitchen is maintained b. Be aware of requirements to pass inspections by the state and local health departments c. Provide standardized recipes, production sheets & guidelines for each station d. Catering Requests, seasonal features & daily features are created and communicated to staff e Kitchen area & equipment are kept clean and in working order f. when daily product rotation and monthly physical inventory are maintained 
  • 2. Staff Development Performance is acceptable when: a. Exemplify and communicate health department guidelines to staff as ongoing training b. Ensure that staff is provided with and dressed–in proper, clean uniforms at all times c. Staff understands and complies to Dining Services policies concerning meal & drink policies d. Ensure that all staff are maintaining an organized work station, prep kitchen and dining room 
  • 3. Customer Service Representative Performance is acceptable when: a. Customer service is provided with a helpful positive attitude and in a timely fashion by all staff b Demonstrate commitment to customer service excellence to ensure satisfaction c. Schedule reservations and events with assistant manager and clients
